We visited here once when we first moved to Central PA since it was recommended by friends. It was a convenient location in a shopping center, lots of seating and cozy atmosphere. Definitely evidence that it was a staple in the community and patronized by many throughout the years. Definitely and old restaurant vibe, but very clean. The food was very tasty and the service was great. I remember we ordered two entrees and shared another dish. The spice level was accommodated to our tastes and the staff recommendations were great as well. We felt very attended to. There is a huge free parking lot, and if I remember correctly they put seating outside in the warmer months.

Visited here for lunch with friends enjoyed the food. Authentic Asian food taste, enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Slightly pricy but makes up with the huge quantity they serve. Excellent service and hospitality. I surely recommend this place

I am giving this restaurant one star primarily because of the customer service.

I visited with my family, and from the very beginning, the experience was disappointing. We were not properly greeted when we arrived; we were simply shown to a table without any welcome or acknowledgment.

When the food was served, the server didn’t make any eye contact or engage with us. The dishes were just placed on the table, and the server immediately walked away to attend to another table. Throughout the entire meal, I don’t recall a single time when anyone checked on us to ask how we were doing or whether the food was satisfactory. There was absolutely no follow-up after the food was served.

At the end of our meal, we were planning to order dessert, but without even asking if we wanted anything else, the server brought us the bill. We were surprised and had to inform her that we intended to order dessert. We then had to call another staff member to place the dessert order. The dessert was eventually served, we finished it, and left.

While the taste of the food itself was okay, the overall experience was not enjoyable because of the poor service. After sharing this experience with a couple of friends, they mentioned having similar or even worse experiences at the same restaurant, stating that they felt disrespected and poorly attended to.

Overall, even though the food was acceptable, the service was extremely disappointing. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to others.

We got here around 5:30pm on a Saturday. They have a huge menu! It got busier! The appetizer was crab Rangoon
Very tasty! We decided on Mango mango & Massamm curry. Both had generous portions and tasted wonderful. The hot tea was flavorful. Great fast friendly service. Bathrooms are clean.

Picked up my food on a Friday evening. I was running about 10 minutes late and my food was still hot by the time I arrived back in my hotel. Well packed too because I made a few sharp turns and had no leeks. I ordered the chicken pad Thai with added scallops, and green curry with chicken and beef. Both with the hottest, Thai spice. As I’m writing this I have sniffles and my left eye is burning because I rubbed it… I love it! Big portions, so I have lunch tomorrow. Very flavorful dishes and fresh vegetables. I can’t recommend this Thai food enough.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and got 2 veggie spring rolls, Tom Yum goong soup, White pepper Garlic Pork, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The waiter asked us if it was a special date we were having, and we said it was our anniversary. To our surprise, when we were finished with our food, they brought out a slice of chocolate cake with a candle. They went above and beyond. Per person was around $20 for the entrees and about $8 for the appetizers. Oh, and we tried some Thai Tea as well which was out of this world!!! Thai is the best kind of food in my opinion and Bangkok Wok knows how to prep and cook it. I 1000% recommend this to everyone. And the waiters are SO NICE and so polite and friendly.

I just ordered wonton soup and crab rangoon. When they brought out the soup I asked for some hard noodles which they did not provide, I also ask about duck sauce which they did not have. They put a container of what they called sweet sauce in with the crab rangoon and I pulled it out and asked if it was spicy? No no no no it’s just sweet sauce, homemade… was their answer. I absolutely can’t have peppers or chilies which is why I asked the question. I began to eat the crab rangoon and dip it in the “sweet sauce”only to find after the second one it was definitely hot, there were definitely chili flakes in it. And now I’m sick. So much for spending $18 on soup and crab rangoon… Not happy.

– Not all customers seem to receive equal treatment.
– We felt that we received less attention compared to others sitting at nearby tables.
– Despite this, we decided to leave a 12% tip to ensure better treatment for future customers.
– I ordered the spicy fried rice, but it had more spice flavor and less fried rice flavor.
– Having a menu with 70 items is of little value when the restaurant can’t make a few special Thai dishes well.

Just tried Bangkok Wok Thai, and it was awesome! The place has a cool vibe, and the Pad Thai and Green Curry I had were crazy good. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. If you’re into legit Thai food with a chill atmosphere, Bangkok Wok Thai is the spot. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Dark cluttered restaurant, but I like the lunch here better than the other Thai restaurants on this road. I adore Penang chicken and theirs is perfect. It was not watery. For lunch portion they gave a lot so I took leftovers home.

The prices for dinner do look steep so I’ll just come here for lunch.
