It’s always a positive experience dining here! The quality of food is top-notch and we always appreciate the customer service. The portobello burger is very flavourful and the salad is so fresh tasting with a delicious homemade vinaigrette. My husband was in the mood for fish and chips and it did not disappoint. We also bought some baked goods to take home. Everything we’ve had has always been delicious – from the bread to the cinnamon rolls. It’s always worth the drive out!

Being someone with shellfish allergies and nut allergies im very skeptical/picky about where I eat. This place is shellfish free/ nut free and the food is amazing! They also have homemade sourdough that i cannot wait to dig into! Im very sad that I live provinces away or this would be a regular spot for me! Shout to the owner for amazing service and food. I will definitely be back!

Great service, fantastic food. The cinnamon buns are too die for. You’ll not regret dining here. Spoke with the owner/ chef and heard a bit of his back story which led to his love of baking/ cooking fresh breads and foods. I have to mention the fresh coleslaw, which I normally don’t like creamy style. His slaw was great and fresh.

After trying the gluten free Mac & cheese, chicken finger with GF batter, the soups, and the GF cheesecakes, it felt like a well-earned, home-cooked lunch. After 7 days on a road trip, this is the only restaurant that reflected the reviews.
The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is like a warm hug. The prices, as the owner reining from Niagara-On-The-Lake put it best, “is an Ontario quality menu without the prices”.
Go out of your way to stop by. Thank you for honest and wonderful service, stay kind!

My family and I visited The Kitchen for supper on our way to St. Andrews and it was phenomenal!! 6/5 stars! The staff were so friendly and the food was AMAZING!! I ordered off the light eaters menu and the portions were perfect, even came with dessert included! The mac & cheese was delicious and the cheesecake is to die for! I cannot rec this place enough! We will definitely be going back on my way home!

As someone who is new to St.George she made my 1st visit so pleasant! Also gave me great takeout recommendations since I only ordered soup the 1st time. Her Mac & cheese special recommendation was off the the charts flavour wise 10/10 . Chicken strips were also great. Brea is THE G.O.A.T

What a lovely surprise- an unassuming little place and the only restaurant in Blacks Harbour. No shellfish, but boy can they cook! The fish and chips and tuna burger are amazing. The tuna “burger” is a slab of gorgeous Ahi tuna, seared and spiced on a great roll. Fries are cut daily, salads fresh. Home made cheesecake deserts. Their bread is homemade. Don’t miss this place!

The food here is absolutely delicious! Whenever I have out of town friends down, this is the restaurant I take them. The beef burger is definitely recommended as well as the fish and chip! The owners are fan-freakin-tastic as well as the rest of the staff. You feel like a member of The Kitchen family. The desserts are phenomenal, all in all, you could try anything there and it won’t disappoint! 🙂

My husband is very limited to what can have for spices. We stopped there on our way back from Grand Manan. They were very accommodating to his dietary restrictions. The gentleman that was our server took the time to go through the menu with us. They were able to find a solution. Service and food were amazing. He even came back with a marked up menu for us to take with for next time. We are definitely coming back!
