Recommend reading carefully because these are Indian / native tacos, not Mexican tacos!! Despite the mix up on our part, we were pleasantly surprised to find a small family run establishment in a quaint outdoor setting. Food is inexpensive and fast (came out in less than 5 minutes). Indian tacos are not fancy but they are hearty. It is cash only.

We had been wanting to visit this place for the longest time and was NOT disappointed! The service is amazing, the family is so sweet and kind. They work really fast and treat customers so so we’ll. I’m the food is amazing! The salsa is to die for!!! It is a cash-only and affordable. They also had other hand-made jewelry & history books for sale so definitely take extra cash to check that out. The space is very very kid friendly so families will love it!

Coyote Taco is fantastic. A roadside Native American owned taco stand selling homemade “Indian tacos”, which are like tostadas made with fry bread. You can sit on a park bench right outside and enjoy the view and fresh air. Perfect for a quick snack in the time of social distancing. Follow the signs from the main road and enjoy this hidden gem!

Stopped by on my way back from the mountains and was not disappointed. Extremely friendly staff, very welcoming. Food was great and you can’t beat a fresh homemade meal! They were accommodating and were able to make their taco minus the meat for my wife, who said the beans were flavorful and the fresh frybread made the meal worth it! Bought some salsa and jam for the road 🙂 we will be stopping back in next time we pass through!

Very sweet people! A smaller spot with cheap but filling food. Having homemade jellys and other sorts in a spot for you to check out as well while you check it out. Lovely food and impressively made quickly.

Friendly Native ladies and plenty of outdoor seating. The fry bread is light and still fluffy.

Hidden Gem between Yosemite and Sequoia. The fry bread was the best I’ve ever had – fluffy and light! Also had the Indian Taco which was outstanding – super clean and filling! The women who own and run Coyote Taco are wonderful and super friendly! Add this stop to your travel itinerary – check for business hours!
