We drove over 175 miles just to stop at Whispering Pines Farmstand & BBQ in Bird in Hand, and it was absolutely worth it! The setting is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by Lancaster County farmland. We had the half chicken with cheese fries and sides, and everything was cooked perfectly, tender, flavorful, and full of that amazing smoky BBQ taste.
The desserts were delicious, the kind you think about long after you’ve finished eating. The farmstand also has fresh local produce and goodies, all reasonably priced. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and you can really feel the pride and care that goes into everything they do.
Totally worth the drive. Great food, great people, and a true Lancaster County gem!

Great brisket! So much food for the cost of the dinner entree with 4-5 sides. Everything was delicious. I easily got 2 meals from it and didn’t even eat the roll. So happy to support small business and can’t wait to return. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
