We easily saw a picture of Zeppo’s pizza and knew we had to try it. I am so glad we did because I think it’s definitely our new favorite pizza spot in Bakersfield.
We actually ended up going back 5 days later to have it again! This time we took my Grandma and Uncle & they were equally impressed! Everything we have ordered has been crazy delicious. And we’ve ended both meals with zeppoles that just make the whole meal even better. Between everyone we have had the buffalo chicken pizza, a pepperoni with Alfredo sauce, spicy Italian, vegetarian pizza, a large lunch special slice of cheese and pepperoni, the fried ravioli & of course the zeppoles! I’m giving everything a 11/10!
The staff is also super nice, they work fast, keep the restaurant very clean. There’s board games available to play as well as a small little arcade with some games and air hockey. It’s a great place! Shoutout to Mondo who was incredibly kind to my family when we came back a second time. We will continue to visit and tell everyone about this place!

Customer service was on point! The employees were friendly and very attentive. The pizza was amazing!!! We had the Papa Zep and added fresh basil it was very fresh and hot, the crust was light and crispy, it was so good, we also had the wedges they were very fresh, hot and crispy they have real Ranch! and Pepsi. Thank you Zeppo’s for doing a great job! keep up the good work.

Why didn’t anyone tell me about this place? It’s definitely the closest to NY style you’ll get here.
I customized one to be a white pizza (PLEASE add this to the main menu!) with white sauce, ricotta, parm, their cheese and basil. It was Devine and rich in flavor.
Defintely keep it simple and make sure to get the pepperoni. That was perfectly on par!
The breadsticks- oh my lord! Fluffy, flavorful and garlic galore. Put the marinara sauce ON TOP when plating. It’s fresh. It will be hard to dip and scoop those nice chunks of garlic
Potato wedges? No. Potato legends. They are cut in a way that every single bite has a perfect crunch and full of flavor.
Don’t fumble the bag and cheap out. Get the wedges and the sticks. This is our forever new pizza spot.
Speaking of Cheap- $25 for the mega pepperoni size was wild. These other places are charging way too much. This is the perfect spot to order from when you’re having a party or game night.

This is hands down the best pizza place in town . It is the closest to new your style that I have ever had in town .
It beats the Italian restaurant pizzas.
I highly recommend this place. One of my favorites. Is they give you the option to do a half and half of two of their speciality pizzas. ( I have used this 4 times now and was able to try each one the the specialty pizzas ) .
10/10. A must try if you love fantastic pizza.

I love Zeppo’s food, but there always seems to be a problem when I go, and Halloween was really disappointing. I placed an online order at 4:30 PM for a medium pizza and jalapeño poppers and set my pickup time for 5:30 PM. I arrived at 5:45, only to be told my order wasn’t ready and would need another 30 minutes.
When I mentioned it was supposed to be ready at 5:30, the employee told me — with attitude — that “online doesn’t know how busy we are.” I get that restaurants get busy, but a 2-hour wait for a simple order that was placed well in advance is unreasonable.
I usually call in my orders, but that always leads to mistakes, so I used online ordering to avoid issues. If future online ordering can’t account for how busy they are, it shouldn’t be offered as an option. Customers need some level of accountability when they do everything right on their end.
I love the food, but the service and consistency really need improvement. This experience was frustrating and makes it hard to rely on ordering ahead

I called in my order for a hand tossed pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The order was ready before I arrived in twenty minutes. Pizza was delicious. I used to order here more frequently when I lived in Rosedale neighborhood. But moved further away. I will order more frequently even though I am now further away.

Been hearing about this place for a while. Me and my fiancé went for lunch. We got a Large pepperoni pizza, wedges, and some wings (wing Wednesday)
The pizza is very good! The sauce, a crispy bottom, the sauce tasted fresh and even had small bits of tomato in it; delicious.
The wedges were GREAT. They had a unique shape to them, they were very crispy on the outside, very soft inside.
The wings were ok, we got buffalo and lemon pepper, Would preferred them a little crispier, but overall, Great, Even the prices were fair and the people working there were really friendly and nice.

the service provided by employees was lack luster at best. excessive wait times is a big turn off. if i were you id try another pizza place, save yourself the headache. the employees took 30 minutes for a simple order because it was “busy”. the store was so empty it looked closed. sad❣️
