Truthfully I would give Almost Home 4.5 ⭐️ if it was possible – I’ve always said Google should allow half-star increments – but I rounded up to 5 for the rating because my wife and I recently had an excellent experience. I love the decor and the general vibe they’ve created; sitting in the dining room really does feel almost like being in my own kitchen/dining room, Almost Home being an appropriate name. It’s cozy and comfortable and the large garage-style door allows a ton of natural light in. For what it’s worth, we also frequently found ourselves nodding our heads along to the playlist. Right up our alley! The service was extremely friendly and plenty efficient. Everything was served with a smile. The food was very good, if not amazing. We shared two entrees – one of which we loved and one was just okay – and a side dish. The steak and eggs with chimichurri and crispy parmesan fries was outstanding; I would definitely recommend and order again. However the sausage egg n cheese on a biscuit with hot honey fell a little flat: I didn’t love the seasoning of the sausage (it didn’t taste particularly like breakfast sausage) and the fried egg was brutally overcooked, rendering each bite quite dry. The biscuit was great tho, scratch made no doubt, and the side of home fries was very good too. I may be nitpicking, as is my way, but I like to leave honest and detailed reviews. Regardless, I would absolutely recommend Almost Home for a refined but casual and comfortable brunch, and I will definitely be back.

Almost Home in Westfield is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth without being bitter. I went with the avocado toast and added a poached egg—simple, fresh, and done really well. The place was packed when I stopped in, but the staff never missed a beat. Robbie, Jarrod, and Phil were super accommodating and actually took the time to chat, which made the experience feel personal. The vibe is also worth mentioning—the bookshelf area is such a cool touch and makes the space feel cozy but modern at the same time. You can tell a lot of thought went into the details here. Between the food, the service, and the atmosphere, it’s one of those spots you leave already planning to come back.

Cute and cozy Cafe. Overall food was really tasty and the service was amazing. The four Stars for the food was because of the tomatoes on the ricotta toast. They tasted canned. Fresh slices would have really elevated the dish. Pricing was a bit much for breakfast. 2 of us with a beverage, side of meat and extra was $70 with a tip.

Roll out of bed on a weekend morning and make your way to Almost Home. A welcoming staff and space. Open for breakfast and lunch with quick and friendly service. You won’t feel rushed – just comfortable. Plenty of your barista options to choose from. Stopped in for breakfast. The Breakfast Burrito and Goat Cheese Frittata were delicious. You will feel Almost Home.

I loved this place. Their food is soo good and their coffee creations are just next level.
It’s a little too small so people are kind of on top of each other , and being so good, everyone wants to go there .
They don’t take reservation, so I will give them 4 stars instead of 5 .

My husband and I were thrilled to try Almost Home General in Westfield. We had passed by a few times and noticed how packed it was.
Upon arriving, we found it quite busy, with a short wait of about 20 minutes. While we waited, my husband ordered a bees knees latte and a chocolate croissant. The latte was good, but the chocolate croissant was not bad. Our waiter seemed enthusiastic but was clearly overwhelmed, only helping us a few times.
I opted for the “Ah Benny” and my husband chose the “Huevos de casa.” Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my meal. The eggs were overcooked, and the hollandaise sauce was excessively citrusy. My husband’s steak was also cold.
Additionally, I noticed that the staff seemed to lack experience. There were a few waitresses who appeared to have worked in restaurants before, while others seemed completely inexperienced.
This review may sound negative, but I want to emphasize that I believe there’s tremendous potential in this establishment. We might try again to see if anything changes, since they only opened 3 weeks ago..

5 stars!! The place was beautiful with really pretty wallpaper on the walls and a cute little library station that made the atmosphere cozy. My husband and I weren’t sure if we wanted to dine in at first, so we started with coffees. The baristas were super friendly and gave us great recommendations—the Bee Knees coffee was absolutely amazing! When my husband decided he wanted to dine in, there was a waitlist with a few people ahead, but the hostess seated us in under 25 minutes. Our server was very kind and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, a wonderful experience that I highly recommend!☕️

Honestly don’t know how this place gets 5 stars. It was new and packed and we thought would be a good experience but could not be farther from the truth. The food was all burnt and subpar tasting that we still paid for. While the time we did interact with our server was decent, it took more than 10-15 minutes to get their attention. It was extremely loud as well and had to scream to hear the person sitting across from me. The doors were kept open and we were bit several times by mosquitoes even though this is supposed to be an indoor place. Very disappointing experience overall and will not recommend anyone come here.
