Delicious! Fresh tortillas were being made as we ordered and the meat was so flavorful! And they were so friendly as well. This was our first time here and definitely will be back next time our travels take us through Mt. Pleasant. If you want authentic food, this is your place!

Truly authentic Mexican food!!! Not your chips and salsa Tex mex, finally!!! Fresh aquas frescas, handmade tortillas, fresh cut meat marinaded and cut daily! Do yourself a favor and try the tres leches cake! It’s very unique, dulce de leche meets crème brûlée meets fresh cream explosion! We drive an hour to dine and it’s soooooo worth it!

Wow! This is a very special resturant. Small cozy place. The menu was small with plenty of options. Place order at counter and food is brought out to your table. The lady taking our order was very helpful and nice. The cooking area was open and easy to watch food being prepared. Was nice to be at a Mexican themed restaurant and NOT have a big bowl of chips and salsa, seriously was a great choice to not be filled up with chips. The food was very fresh and full of flavor. We got fajitas and street tacos. Loved the choices of meat with the street tacos. My favorite was steak with chicken in 2nd place. The food was very simple fresh and full of traditional flavors. The quality of the meat and tortillas is obvious in every bite. We had street tacos, enchiladas, and orders of kid tacos. So refreshing, delicious and bursting with flavor. Definitely coming back…we did have to prep the kids for -no chips, no queso- and picky as they are they wiped the plates clean.

Incredible! They definitely deserve more business and more reviews, as the food is delicious, they have alcohol, the service is good, and they have tres leches, my favorite! Would love to come back one day and try some other dishes, and maybe a few more margaritas. I hope this restaurant does well!!

This restaurant is a little gem in Mt Pleasant. The tacos they have are very authentic! I would highly recommend stopping in. The tortillas were cooked fresh for my order. My favorite taco was the carnita. They do not have ground beef nor do they have chips and salsa. Awesome spot, you should check it out!

We visited after attending the North Pole Express and are not from the area. After the event, we had two very hungry children and chose to eat here as a family. We ordered three meals. Unfortunately, our young son became very upset because none of the menu items were familiar to him, and he was in tears.
To handle the situation quietly, we took him to Subway down the block to get a simple sandwich and returned so we could all eat together. We were then told that outside food was not allowed and were asked to leave — despite the fact that we had already ordered and paid for three meals, our son had ordered a drink, and the majority of our family was eating their food.
Thankfully Subway saved the night, understanding that we were visiting from out of town, allowed us to sit and eat there so our family could stay together. The contrast in flexibility and compassion was striking.
To add to the disappointment, the food itself was very poor. Everything was excessively greasy, the flavors were bland, and the tortillas tasted undercooked or raw.
This experience felt exclusionary for families with children who have sensory sensitivities, autism, or other disabilities that affect food choices. We will not be returning. Families who may require even minimal accommodation should be aware that this establishment is not inclusive.

I come here quite often and its always quick and delicious. The people are very friendly. If I had any complaints is is some staff do have a language barrier. But someone’s always around to help out.
