I love the movement that is happening where restaurants are starting to shift back to offering real ingredients our bodies can naturally process. With that being said, this restaurant is getting on that bandwagon with their fries cooked in locally sourced tallow. The burger is stellar and the fries to go along with it are spot on. I love this little neighborhood spot. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

This burger was one of the best burgers trucks I’ve ever had. (Hours are limited but worth it 11-3 Mon, Wed, and Friday). Their grass fed burger is glazed with jays sauce which taste amazing to the point flavors was lingering after I ate it. You get large portion of shoestring fries with it and he has a side a jays sauce to dip them. (Must I mention they use a healthy sea salt which dont cause high blood pressure). If you’re looking for a nice outdoor spot to eat brunch lunch or dinner look no further because this burger is on point. Probably one of the best burgers in Louisville I have been 3 times and I always get the combo with an egg. The fries are amazing especially if you can eat them while they are still hot. Jays sauce is required!

I am a burger snob. Burgers are my favorite food and I don’t brag on many. However, Jay’s Burgers are THE BEST burgers! Every time I get one, I forget how good they are and I am delighted all over again.
Their burgers are all freshly made with local farmers’ ingredients. It is a two-handed burger. They come with two patties. Their Jay’s sauce is phenomenal. Their ketchup is unique and delicious. Every bite is a nice crunch from the crisp lettuce, crunchy onion, and (I guessing) homemade pickles. Their pickles are the bomb!
Then, you have the fries. Think Steak and Shake skinny fries, but seasoned to perfection. You get Jay’s sauce or ketchup to dip them, but I love them as is.
The service makes the perfect food even better. They are so kind and helpful. They are constantly busy, yet they will answer any question and never make you feel like you’re rushed. We don’t live near Louisville, so when we go, Jay’s is a must. My family always argues about who gets to go to Louisville with me because they know Jay’s is happening. I tell everyone that I know going to Louisville about Jay’s. It is a favorite of ours. Try them. It will change your views on burgers. No one comes even close.

My husband and I went here for lunch yesterday with our 11 month old. It was by far the best burger and fries I’ve had in a really long time. The burger was flavorful all throughout. Even the meat had plenty of flavor and was crispy, yet juicy. The fries were nice and crispy and perfectly salty. The veggies used were very fresh. The bun held intact, which, for me, is a very important part of a good burger.
Definitely would recommend and will be back next time we go through Louisville!

First time eating here and it was outstanding! The burger was the best I’ve had in a while it was fresh beef made to order and the fries were hot and delicious as well. Will definitely return whenever I’m back in Louisville !

Such a cute and welcoming burger truck. They got one thing on the menu and thats BURGER! 2 grass-fed smash patties with cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle and their Jay’s sauce. You can subtract anything you don’t want or add another patty, veggies or even an egg for additional cost. They have a burger combo, which is their burger and fries for $14. I thought both the burger and fries were good but did think the fries were a little too salty, but to each their own.
The employees are super nice, I mentioned that I had never been before and he walked me through their burger and whats included. Overall I would definitely recommend!

It is not enough to merely call this the best burger in Louisville or best burger in the country. In fact there are few greater joys in life than enjoying a Jay’s burger during a lunch break. Go here and enjoy a burger you will never stop craving in your lifetime
