This place was super good!! I ordered a Chicken Over Rice platter, and the guy taking my order was very nice. The price itself was pretty affordable, ESPECIALLY for the portions you’re getting. I got through (maybe) a quarter of my plate in one sitting, and it was GREAT. The chicken was tender, the fries were well seasoned, and the salad was . 10/10 would recommend (shout out to the chefs back in the kitchen).

We visited Halal Munchies for the first time around 10:30 PM on a Friday night. We placed our order at the self serve kiosk in the lobby at 10:40 PM and didn’t receive our food until 11:21PM about a 40 minute wait, which felt excessive. The lobby was decently packed, but everyone was just waiting for their food no one had actually received anything yet. They seemed short staffed juggling both in store and online orders.
While we waited, a DoorDash driver sat for over 10-15 minutes waiting on a second order, without an insulated bag (which is on the driver, not the restaurant). The food itself was hot, affordable, and decent for the price, but not quite worth the long wait.
My gyro was a bit dry since most of the sauce was tucked into the veggies, and the drink fridge was nearly empty with limited options.
The place was fairly clean, which was appreciated. However, I didn’t notice a public restroom, and if there isn’t one available, it would be helpful if they at least offered hand sanitizer or some kind of alternative. There are a few parking spaces in the back, which is convenient.
Overall, it’s a decent late night bite if you’re not in a rush, but be prepared for a wait especially during busy hours.

So disappointed. My NY chopped cheese had no meat, so highly disappointing. The cheese fries they show on the website is a 2 ounce cup of cheese and just another order of cheese for $5.99! Outrageous! Food was good on what I little I got, was super hungry and was truly let down. I was so hungry still ♀️

The food was wonderful ate the full mixed plater packed with flavor and a large portion. However we could not stay to eat because every available table was smearing grains and food. Sticky counters an food on the back wall counter, the floor w as sticky . Trash overflowing and used balled up dirty napkins lined the floor under tables an on top. Yes it was steady traffic. However when a free moment came I noticed cashier just scrolled on cellphone. Not sure who is responsible to wipe down a table of rake out trash. But attention to this could really be useful.

Ordered delivery when it was recommended by the hotel during the off season and it was FABULOUS! The white fish was so light and crispy and fresh, my kids were all fighting for it. I got the lamb gyro and it was the biggest one I’ve been served, ever. I’m an “add on” eater and didn’t have to adjust a single thing we ordered, it was all delicious. Will be ordering again!

The food was delicious and the flavour was amazing. I went to Virginia Beach for few days with a friend and we ate there most of our stay. I tried their kofta platter and the chicken platter meals and my had the mixed platter and all were delicious. I even ordered a to go meal on my last day at the beach.

Our first time here but definitely not my last. Walking the strip we noticed they had a good crowd waiting to order so we wanted to see if they knew something we didn’t… Didn’t disappoint not one bit. We waited in line to order and for our food combined about 20 minutes but I’d wait twice as long, it’s that good. Portion size is big, price very fair the food is so flavorful and fresh & friendly service. Pictured is the chicken and rice platter.
