Love the crispy chicken tacos! The sauce they put on these is so good. They also load them up with cheese and lettuce.

Had an amazingly large meal for less than $15, and it was very tasty. The employees were very nice and worked quickly, and I had my food within a few minutes of ordering.

I love this little family owned place tucked into a row of eateries in a street corner shopping center that consists mainly of Asian businesses. The prices are reasonable, and the food is good. They have lots of specials posted in the windows. I really like the seafood enchilada special that comes with beans, rice, tortilla chips with salsa on them, and a very small salad garnish. I usually get that or the 3 taco special for $7.00. I like the generous shredded beef ones the best. My husband sometimes gets the Jumbo burrito, which is huge. You order and pay at a counter. Miguel usually takes your order and is always super friendly. Most customers get their order to go, but there are tables inside if you want to eat there. The food is prepared quickly. I really like going to small businesses where they remember who you are and what you like to order.

been coming here since they opened almost 30 years. and frankly, after spending 60$ for 3 burritos and a few pint sized tacos (they’ve gotten smaller and smaller over the years) this place honestly isn’t worth it. we remember the grand opening with the owners, and frankly this place is NOT worth the price, for 60$ you can get a much larger and better meal at kalavaras or pepe’s hell the pop up taco stands have a better meal for the cost. it’s a shame but after almost 30 years it’s likely we won’t be going back and as a local I suggest others don’t as well. there’s plenty of taco stands on Nogales that are way more affordable and worth the cost.

This place has been at the same location for almost 40 years. When I still lived at home many years ago, I remember trying it because it was a local place. I loved it and am still returning after all these years when I go back home to visit my Dad.
The same guy that used to take my order is still there to this day!!!!!
The food is always great and this man that runs the Taco Pup is always friendly and accommodating. I would recommend trying it if you are near Rowland Heights.
