Honestly, I only stopped in because I really had to pee. I’ve had horrible experiences with the food in the past., “town pump hot case food is better”. So I figured I’d atleast buy a root beer for using the restroom. $2.50 for a 12 ounce can of Barq’s root beer?? Are you kidding me?? New owner must be an out of stater?

They are no longer serving food. The kitchen has been closed by the new owners. We hiked in the Alberton area all day and stopped in for the famous fried chicken when we were informed they’ve closed the kitchen. Major disappintment. We had a drink and left to find lunch. We used to love this place but no food options isn’t ideal.

This is the cleanest bar we’ve ever been in. Restrooms are immaculate. Service was excellent. Food was fresh and tasty. Wish we would’ve had time to indulge in the fried chicken. Family friendly and right off the freeway.
