Been a few years since we were in the Indian Tandoori, back when they used to be across the road. We used to be in Virginia fairly regularly on our trips down from Northern Ireland and forgot how good their food is. Some complimentary poppadoms to start, always appreciated. Had a fabulous Tandoori Mixed Platter for 2, to start. It was plentiful and Tandoori Chef knows his game, as the meat was full of flavour. For main the Lamb Jalfrezi was excellent, lots heat without losing the all important flavour! My wife had Beef Madras which she declared excellent. Excellent Naan Bread too. Service were efficient and friendly and had a good chat with the owner. They recently won best curry in Ireland and on this showing, can see why. Owner is always very welcoming and accommodating. Some lovely Ice Cream to finish. Thank you and hope to see you in the not too distant future!

Went down as a last minute decision had never been but based on reviews decided to take a chance. The food was amazing, service was efficient and friendly. The decor is great and loved the atmosphere enhanced by real Indian music not the standard “the 80’s/90’pop music you get in a lot of eateries. Will be going again soon and highly recommend if you like good Indian food.

Unfortunately I must have caught the restaurant on a bad night. The food was not fresh, rice reheated and hard for example and the Saag Paneer was terrible, with flour or something in it to bulk up the lack of spinach. Something went really wrong in the kitchen last night it seems.
The staff were friendly and efficient so cant fault them in any way. But the tandoori sizing meats from a nearby table almost chocked the diners and the doors had to be open to clear the fug.
I won’t be visiting again.

I never had Indian food before, but OMG, I will again!! It’s hard to pin point the best part of my experience here, I will start with the staff, they were fabulous, attentive but not over bearing. The restaurant itself is spotless, attention to detail was fab! The food, was amazing!! It came out in great time, nice an hot, and very fresh.. highly recommend this Indian restaurant can’t wait to go back

The best Indian restaurant in Ireland ! I can say this after trying tons of options in Dublin.
Just highlighting that there are 2 restaurants nearby – don’t go to the one that has “Eastern” in their name – try the Indian Tandoori !
We had matar paneer, bhindi, veg mix, paratha, roti, rice, and Raita and everything was amazing. Raita is highly recommended.
The host is amazing and very well experienced. Rest of the staff is also cordial.
They also have outdoor sitting option !

We loved the butter chicken, biryani, and fresh naan. Flavors were rich and perfectly spiced. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and great vegetarian options too. A must-visit if you’re nearby!

Sizzling and superb tandoori chicken. It doesn’t come with sauce but there was a delicious mango and mint yoghurt which complemented the lightly spiced chicken well. I ordered madras sauce as I like to have heat. Unlike a lot of places the sauce isn’t dripping with a layer of oil. Really good food and decent prices
