This was definitely my go to spot in recent months but unfortunately I had to stop coming here.
As far as pricing it can definitely be really expensive for any additional toppings you want.
Filet and chicken with fried rice and veggie is $30+. I always ask for medium rare on my steak is always cooked more medium well and or well done. The portions can be small.
I think if you are craving hibachi with quick services this place will suit you. It’s just a hit or miss most of the time.

I ordered the steak bowl and asked for medium rare. The meat was over cooked and the steamed rice a little too hard. The vegetables were amazing . They are on the pricey side. And will not be going back

The regular crew does a phenomenal job with preparing and serving what I order.
I’ve pinned down a $45 plate that I love. If I’m doing well that week with jobs I’ll buy a $90 plate.
The one missing star in service was the secondary crew, they couldn’t keep up, they were not prepared. Many items were out and substitutes don’t make what a complete meal makes.

First time and maybe last time. I ordered online, mine was a combo plate, chicien and beef and my son ordered the noodle and rice with chicken. Email said order would be ready a 7:23pm I got there early and they put it together, I ordered medium rare steak, got shoe leather and the chicken was so overcooked it was hard to eat. And i didn’t get the sauces i ordered, maybe not a good night! Very disappointed!

I ordered online as the get really busy. My order time pick up was 9:10 I arrive give him my name and he said give it 5 minutes it’s coming up. I wait and he said almost. I see there is an order on the counter but must not be mine. So 29 min later he says just waiting on the chicken. He Said what’s the name and I tell him and he gets the food that was sitting there for the last 20 plus minutes. I let him know that the food has been there ready for over 20 minutes He than gets upset with me and says you think I have your order on my mind I have to many things on my mind to think about just your order. I said your the one who said give you 5 min almost done

Ordered the Bachi plate and Bachi burrito. Asked for no veggies on the plate, but got veggies. Steak on plate was griselly. The guy before me had his order messed up to. Definitely not worth the restaurant prices they charge. Go elsewhere.

I ordered 3 bowls: 1 chicken, 2 chicken/shrimp add noodles, 1 shrimp plate, and 1 chicken and steak combo (I was given all the sauces to try). I was less than impressed, the chicken was dry but the shrimp/steak were cooked well and the rice was weirdly kind of uncooked in some bowls (kind of crunchy), but the most important part is that NONE of it had flavor. I see the West covina page on IG post about this food truck all the time which made me want to try it but I will not be returning. FYI this was for the SGV location only.

The food is amazing but online says they open at 3pm even there website says 3pm but they didn’t open until 345 pm which sucks especially with this heat. They post on instagram all the time, they could have at least posted that they were opening late. The guy saw us standing there and couldn’t even say hello or even say sorry guys we will be opening around this time. The food is a 10 but customer service sucked. Didn’t end up getting our food til 4:15!
