G1 is very good place with authentic North Indian flavors and freshly prepared gravies. I’ve both dined in and ordered through Uber, We’ve tried their Aloo Gobi, Pakora, and Daal Fry with a solid Bullet Naan—even the Chana, daal makhani and Aloo Tikki from my takeout order were delicious. Just a heads up: when they say “spicy,” they mean real Indian spicy, so be aware before you order! The service was a little slow, but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the restaurant is super clean. It’s a great spot for a nice north indian food because it’s quiet enough to actually hear your conversation, even with all the takeout crowds. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The food was outstanding full of flavors, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care.

What really stood out, though, was the service: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. You can tell they truly care about their guests. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone craving great Indian food with excellent hospitality!

Food was amazing! Appetizer sampler platter was only $11 and was a meal unto itself!

Mango lassi was divine!

Lamb whatever it was had me glad I was dining by myself!

The prices are out of this world also. Out of maybe 50 items only 3 were about $16.

They were playing great Indiana pop music. Was quite the vibe.

Will be back many times.

Clean, kind staff, and quiet enough to hear our table conversations. The food was delicious and had a good amount of spice & flavor. The beers were good too!

The service was really good, and the food was phenomenal. It’s a very peaceful environment and our waiter was very attentive. We both had vegan dishes and they were very knowledgeable on what adjustments to make.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! The ambiance was incredibly quiet, making it an ideal setting for couples seeking a romantic dining experience. It was also perfect for those dining alone. The wait for food was minimal, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The medium spice level was just right, neither too spicy nor too bland.

My family ate at G-1 for the first time tonight and it is our new favorite Indian restaurant in the city. The yellow dal taka was perfect! And the biryani a hit. Our waiter suggested the gobhi manchurian (fried cauliflower), and even the pickiest of kids would devour this. Bonus, they had some unique naan options that I have not seen in other restaurants and our bill was under $60 even with having enough leftover for another dinner! We are sure to be back.

G-1 offers fresh, delicious food served by friendly and attentive staff! We have had take out and dine-in experiences here and have been highly satisfied with both. Service was quick with ample serving sizes and very reasonable prices especially considering the amount and quality of food you get here. We ordered take out for a gathering at home and everyone raved about the quality of the food! Dining in was also a great experience; lovely dining area that’s quiet but still family-friendly. One of our new favorite spots in the area!

We finally had the opportunity to try out G1, and we were thoroughly impressed! As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a visually appealing ambiance and friendly service.

The food was exceptional and incredibly fast. We began our meal with a massive fried cauliflower dish and samosas. Unfortunately, I didn’t capture pictures of all of the food, but everything was simply amazing. We also indulged in butter chicken, chicken biryani, garlic naan, and chicken and vegetable korma. Each dish was hot, flavorful, and generously portioned. We are thrilled to have G1 in our neighborhood and can’t wait to return. If you’re a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit!

This is the BEST restaraunt experience I’ve had in a LONG TIME. Atmosphere is elegant while still homey. Comfortable seating, kind staff, great lighting. The food…… absolutely will blow you away. Big portions (you’re def getting a 2nd meal out of it) and all for $15.99. I honesty thought twice about reviewing because I’d love to keep this my own secret spot!
