I would say that the food was a 5-star rating; the food was phenomenal, definitely better than I was expecting in a little coast town.
The executive chief was serving and seating people, so my guess is they were very short-staffed.
We got our first round of drinks really fast, and then we ordered an appetizer, bacon-wrapped scallops; they were delicious. We ordered our meal at the same time. It took an hour and a half for us to get our meal with no explanation as to why it was taking so long. The drinks came out fast. There was virtually no follow-up service; we had to flag other staff down to even get refills on our drinks. And served different-sized glasses with the same drink
So by the time we left, there were 7 tables empty and not bussed.

I ate at The Siren twice while staying at the Saltwater Inn in early October. The halibut I ordered for lunch was cooked to perfection and the service was very good. The server came back a few times to check on me and refill drinks. She was very pleasant and made sure I was happy with my meal. I got an order of the chicken tinders to go for dinner and they were also very nicely done and I loved the potato options that came with both meals. The view of the marina from the restaurant is great. Nice clean restrooms as well. I did not need a reservation but you may need one if you are there at a busier time.

My husband and I, plus our family members LOVE this restaurant! Chef Dave is also the owner of The Siren Oceanside Steakhouse. The food that comes out of this restaurant’s kitchen is cooked to perfection! The staff is awesome and so accommodating. Our dining experience has been such an overwhelming positive experience that we try to eat there several times a month! Our all time favorite meal is the Blackened Salmon Salad! The salmon portion is huge and served right on top of lettuce with fresh string beans, grape tomatoes, and slices of golden potatoes! Great price for excellent prepared food!
I you like to have cocktails before your dinner, the servers are excellent at whipping up some tasty drinks!

My husband I took a drive to Westport last weekend and it was a beautiful day. We drove all the way through town and at the end we found Sirens Oceanside Steakhouse was open. We were there at the beginning of lunch time and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. Our server Trisha was great, friendly and welcoming. Our meal was absolutely delicious. I had a salmon salad and my husband had the burger. So yummy.
Beautiful new decor and great view of the marina. Trisha told us a bakery/coffee shop will be opening soon also. I hear the hotel rooms have been remodeled too. Which is a great bonus to the area
We highly recommend this spot for a nice atmosphere and meal.

I stopped in for lunch with a friend for the first time. The service was great the view was beautiful and the food was really good and came out piping hot. The calamari was peppery just how I like it and I had the Wild Salmon Nicoise Salad. It was amazing, the green beans and potatoes cooked perfectly and the salmon was moist and flavorful-cooked to just done-the way it should be.

Very impressed! The food was so good! One of the best calamari’s I’ve ever had! The fries were so crispy! The Rosemary chicken was sooo juicy and flavorful! This is the perfect place to take the whole family or meet friends! Let’s not even talk about the view ok let’s talk about it! lol who doesn’t want to sit next to a huge window over looking the Westport harbor! Beautiful!!!! We are so grateful this restaurant is back up and running!

You HAVE to come & eat here! The food was amazing, service was excellent, & the view was gorgeous! For appetizer we had the bacon wrapped scallops which were so tender & bacon was crispy. I had the bacon jam burger, it was juicy and the fries were perfectly crispy! The bacon jam is seriously addictive!

This was the worst fish/expensive halibut I’ve ever tasted. The lauded potatoes equall three crosscut pieces of a on gold potatoes each 1/4 thick—that’s it. The habit was dry and very small at the tail of the fish. The asparagus was abundant and softly cooked. The flower arrangement tells it all-/ broken weeds. Finally, we should have walked out right away when we were inundated by a musty/moldy smell. Do not eat there.

What a disappointment i used to love the original islander, but I was looking forward to. The remodel that new building looks great., the food was really bad. The pasta, what’s like glue with no green? There was no bread served, we had muscles. That we’re so dried out and overcooked again with no bread, we asked the guy for bread, he brought us toasted hamburger buns. The sauce on those muscles was more like a soup. No water was served with our meal. The cook/waiter was very unkempt and dirty, very off putting …hate to say it as we really wanted to like the new spot i would say go to Aloha down the street or even Bennett fish shack, I just call them the way I see them,and I don’t even know what to say about garlic butter being served with bacon wrapped scallops, I don’t think they have tasted that bacon because it was beyond salty

Good things first..I had a taste of everything that was at the table the pasta dishes were amazing, so much flavor, the calamari was light and crispy and huge portion, the chicken sandwiche was crispy and and the most perfect toasted brioche bun, but I feel like the star was the Rosemary chicken tenders, not something I would normally order, but the word rosemary got me that chicken was so juicy and so light and crispy on the outside we were all dying over them. We also got the baked Alaska. It was so fun with the presentation and they lit it on fire at the table.
The only thing I could say that could be a better experience was the food could’ve been a little warmer temperature. I feel like most of the food wasn’t very hot. Still not a big deal. Also, it was a little cold and there was a huge draft of cold wind blowing through the door over by the bathroom that I feel like had a lot to do with why the building was so cold but other than that we had a great time and will definitely be coming back here.
