The Cheeky Chicken seems to be a more reasonably priced, local-business version of the popular Korean fried chicken establishments that have been showing up over the last few years.
I learned from one of their co-owners that this place (one of a few they’ve recently opened) is their own business learned after years of franchising experience. They wanted to have quality sauces they controlled, rather than ingredients shipped from Korea.
I ordered a wing box with spicy soy garlic, with a side of honey butter fries, and a Korean pear drink.
The honey butter fries are one of the more unique things they offer, with a sprinkling of a savory sweet powder on top of lightly crunchy fries.
They’re located in a small strip off of RT-22 but seemed to have decent traffic while I dined in at the small window-facing seating.

The food was really good! I ordered the chee-gam chicken over fries. The cashier looked like he was the owner, but incredibly friendly polite and professional, he was also very helpful to explain things for me. He even helped me pick a sauce to my taste liking. I wish every business had this guy working their register! Would definitely come back to try the dumplings!

Food is lit! Good korean find with a twist! Bar seating. About 8 seats on approximation. Clean and good airconditioning. Quick service. Ample of parking space. Just watch out for the signage so you don’t miss the entrance. No high chair seen or koala kare on restroom. See attached for reference.

Tried The Cheeky Chicken for the first time and I definitely need to come back. I ordered the Chee-Gam, chicken dumplings, a strip box, and a strawberry refresher with mango popping bubbles – everything was fresh, flavorful, and just so good. The food presentation was just as amazing as the taste.
I think the cashier noticed it was my first time (I was busy taking pics of everything lol) and was super friendly and welcoming. The menu has a lot of great options too – can’t wait to come back and try their Ddukbokki next! Definitely recommend if you love bold, delicious food

Ok ok. The chicken here is pretty good. Had the cheeky wings box soy garlic with rice, also came with pickled radish and coleslaw( little dry not a lot of flavor in the coleslaw.) also had the honey butter fries and the mango refresher with lychee jelly. So 1. Chicken. Delicious crunch and flavorful had it with the Rose sauce. Spicy and sweet. 2. Fries. Something different. Love the honey flavor would prefer it a little more crunchy. 3. Mango refresher. Really sweet but delicious . Everything came out in a pretty quick but if you’re in a hurry order ahead of time. Philip helped me out and answered all the questions I had. Knew what he was talking about. The restaurant was clean and really like how simple and clean the facility was, they have bar seating on the wall but no tables. Plenty of parking. though I think they need more visibility on 22 because I don’t think you’ll see cheeky unless you’re looking for it so that’s my suggestion. I will definitely be back and looking forward to trying out all their other flavors and combinations they have.

This is hands down the best chicken place I’ve been to! The menu offers plenty of options, and the fried chicken was absolutely amazing. The coating was perfectly crispy, and the inside was tender and juicy—easily the best chicken I’ve ever tasted. The dipping sauce I tried was a perfect match for the chicken. On top of that, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. I can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommended!

Cheeky Chicken is exactly what this area has been missing! We grabbed some food on their opening day, and the variety of fried chicken flavors really stood out. Every piece was deliciously crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It’s definitely a perfect match with some beers & soju. My go-to flavor was soy garlic for sure.
I highly recommend checking it out—you won’t regret it! I’d even go as far as to say it’s the most authentic Korean-style chicken I’ve had to date.

I came in at night and tried their boneless box with soy garlic and it was amazing! So today i got food for my family
to try for dinner and I came in person and placed my order with the cashier. For starters customer service is unmatched! The guy who took my order was the absolute sweetest! And he made me a refresher with two flavors and let me know if I didn’t like it he could re-do it. However it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Best bubble drink i’ve ever had and I’ve had drinks like that from a lot of tea shops. Theirs is on the top of my list! I love their chicken it’s super crunchy the fries too and for the prices you cannot beat the amount of food you get. I will be coming here a lot more often!
