Very nice place to stop off for food and coffee, was not expecting this little treat in Greensboro Alabama. The decor has a nice upscale, modern twist on an old-time Southern downtown building. The music was also very pleasant as I heard several favorite tunes while dinning. I had a spinach wrap that consisted of feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes and artichokes, and some pimento cheese spread served over a bed of assorted greens with some crackers. I also treated myself to a delicious slice of peanut butter cream pie. The coffee was also superb! Friendly service, delicious food and great atmosphere; will definitely be returning in the future.

Not what I expected. The decor is too cute. The variety offers something for everyone. Only wish the chicken salad wasn’t so dry. Loved the sliced apple option over chips. Staff is friendly.

New to the MS area, I love adventuring and finding little local cafes to support. Drove an hour and 20 mins to check out The Stable Cafe in quaint little Greensboro, AL.
The place is a GEM!! Loved it. The woman who also might possibly be the owner rang me up for a latte, panini and a piece of pie to go. Everything was excellent! She was so welcoming and the pies looked homemade so I just had to get a piece. The panini was perfectly warm, crispy, and had good flavor. The iced latte was divine and just the perfect afternoon pick me up I needed.
I look forward to returning some time in the future. 🙂

This proves that you don’t have to be in a big city to enjoy what I can only describe as a “boutique” coffee house. Simple and tasteful describes both the decor and the menu. Beautiful exposed brick walls surround you, thick 18″ exposed beams run 20 feet over head, and have I mentioned a courtyard? Large walls of glass both in the front and back do nothing short of exemplify the space with natural light. The service was equally impressive, and my only complaint is this place is not close enough to visit more often.

Wow I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza and it was delicious! Worth the wait, which was about twenty minutes. Great space & Great atmosphere!

No longer sell any greensboro pies, but food is usually pretty good. Personally don’t recommend the omelet because it’s too small for me and sometimes it is a hit or miss with the baked potato, but when it’s a hit it hits really good. LOVE THE SHUG!
