South Town brings authentic New Haven Style Apizza (Pronounced ahh-beetz) to the local area! We are on the Meriden – Waterbury Turnpike in the Southington Village of Marion at the crossroads of Southington, Cheshire, and Wolcott. South Town Apizza was established in March of 2019 by a local family from Cheshire and has quickly become the local go to spot for thin crust New Haven Style Apizza. We provide a New Haven Style Apizza experience without the travel. No, it’s not burnt but it is done well! Like all true New Haven Style Apizza your apizza or grinder is going to be cooked well. Meaning it is cooked to a crisp, with some dark edges and spots of charring on the crust and the bottom of the pie. Lighter bake on request.

Ordered a few different items because they had some good reviews and items other local places don’t. $115 dollars later I got a bunch of burnt not really edible or enjoyable food. Even the pizza that looked okay on top (besides veggies not even cut) was like cardboard. When I called I was told it’s just like that sometimes. My boyfriend called for a refund and got told since we ordered from a third party app they would need to contact them first. 2 days later didn’t even get half my money back.

Never ate inside, but picked pizza up. Close to home and neighbor to my Son’s barber shop, (The Fade District). So many specialty pizzas to choose from and just delicious!!!! Cooked to perfection every time…. FIVE stars in my book!!

Great new haven style apizza. Food quality always amazing. The only reason for 4 stars is the staff is very unorganized even after the remodel there are long lines and longer waits than time told on the phone!

felt very ripped off tonight. Ordered a half clam half stuffed shrimp pizza tonight and was charged $45 for the one pizza. A plain cheese pizza later my bill was $65. Pizza was good but again felt ripped off. Too much good pizza in this town to return.

I’m not sure what’s going on lately but twice they have been out of 2 seperate toppings I’ve ordered on different occasions. They also don’t listen very well, as twice now-when the orders had to be fixed because of the missing toppings- I specifically asked for no marichino cherries on the Hawaiian side of the pizza, and they still put them on. Also the pizzas look like they have quite literally been thrown together. Food is tasty, but the service has been lacking lately.

I bought two pizzas, pepperoni and their southtown bomb. Both were the best pies I’ve had locally in a long time! Really amazing! After being charged an incorrect amount (by accident), the owner reached out personally, apologizing and crediting my account with the difference, I’ve never experienced service like that ever before. Will definitely be going back soon!

I want to love this place so bad, but it’s so hit or miss. I’ve had what I have proclaimed to be the best pizza in Southington area here. I have also had very subpar food.
Tonight I got a pizza that was ehhh… and meatball ricotta that seamed like they pulled out of the fridge when I got there when they realized they didn’t throw it in the oven and gave it to me anyways because it was cold when I got home. (5 min drive)
you can tell the food could be great. but man do they need to try a lot harder… not a go to spot for me any longer when I’m in town.
