Mom does the cooking, and she’s doing an amazing job. The girls are the sweetest things. They always give you what you ask for and it tastes delicious. If you wait a long time, it’s okay , because she’s back there, cooking that stuff fresh.

I’ve been wondering how this place was ever since we moved here 2 years ago. I was craving Chinese food tonight so I thought I’d pull the trigger and stop in. There’s a huge floor fan blowing towards the ceiling for some reason. The little girl working the front end was nice but it’s hard to hear them call out your order with that fan running. An older lady, whom I will assume is the chef/owner from reading other feedback, brought my food out with a smile and thanked me.
I ordered General Tao’s Chicken which is my fave, and Crab Rangoon (6) for a total of $18. Seems a bit high for one person but I treated myself so that’s fine (Haven’t had Chinese food in over a year!). My food was delicious and well-proportioned. I used to be able to eat that full amount but was only able to eat half. Crab Rangoon was also delicious.
The only other place we’ve tried is the one in Osage Beach in a strip mall. That place was filthy and my wife vowed never to go back. We’ll definitely come back to New Garden.
PS- Some guy complained in his feedback about the parking Wouldn’t that mean they’re doing well and that would be a good thing???

Love this place! My husband and I moved here 6 1/2 years ago from Kansas City. We had been really craving some good Chinese food and just hadn’t thought to give them a try. We finally did today between, myself, my husband, and my Mom, we were all, “…this is really good”. They didn’t disappoint! When you go there, get extra crab rangoon because you’ll want more, I promise.

They just started to allow Eat in, but it is still in their to go containers. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful BUT it is not like it was before where you can sit down and eat and have a waitress come and see you it is order to go and you can sit if you want food is not bad it is always good pricing and good portions Will be back

I get take-out. I call in my order as it may take a bit of time to receive your order due to many called in orders and it is cooked fresh. Not pre-made. Food is great and depending on what and how much you order can be pricey. Lunch specials are a good bargain. Few plain tables to enjoy an eat in experience. Self service to eat in also. Friendly staff and piping hot food. Great go to!
