I’ve been wanting to try Jebena for a while now. And it does not disappoint and is a hidden gem in downtown Waxhaw!!!! I’ve been here a few times since coming here with my family and everything I have tried has been amazing. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is super friendly.
The croissant is fresh, buttery, and flakey. Their smoothies are very flavorful and delicious. Plus, their coffee had rich flavors and has just the right amount between coffee and flavor you chose. I’ve had both the Carmel frappe and the iced mocha and would definitely get them again.
If you haven’t tried them already you definitely should!!!

Everything we had here was fantastic! From the black coffee to the mocha to the breakfast sandwiches, I would DEFINITELY recommend coming if you are in the Waxhaw area.

We couldn’t get a table at any of the breakfast places after my son’s girlfriend’s high school graduation so we popped in to here by chance & it was a happy accident!!! We each ordered breakfast items and some of us got coffees. I got the bacon, egg, & cheese on the asiago cheese bagel(as pictured) & i felt so lucky! Paired with the iced s’mores late & i was NOT disappointed! Everyone was happy. The atmosphere was a vibe with little cozy corners to relax with friends & family. The lady working took such good care of us & all of the food was hot and specialty made when we ordered it❣️there’s no way we would’ve had a better experience anywhere else!!!

After ordering a Strawberry Matcha cold foam it was pretty good. The price wasn’t too bad and I thought it was worth it. The cafe looks presentable and clean too! I believe it was a good first experience here and may come back sometime in the future.

My last order there was great besides them being out of a lot of menu items. She made my coffee correctly. So that gives me hope since the last three times things were wrong. However it’s very delicious and there are plenty of seats and parking isn’t as painful as some other places in Waxhaw.

Jabena cafe has great coffee and delicious food and servicewas excellent. I found the atmosphere a bit bland. It doesn’t have that cozy feel that I enjoy in a café. Theres a bit of an echo. Perhaps some curtains, artwork and more comfy chairs would help. But I’ll be back anyway.

Jebena Cafe is a great addition to Downtown Waxhaw. The Cafe is located on the corner of N Church Street and Price Street. Stop in to start your day with an amazing cup of Ethiopian coffee. You can also get croissants, sandwiches, and gelato at the Cafe. I ordered a croissant, which was delicious . The cup of coffee tasted rich and bold and definitely woke me up that morning. If you enjoy drinking a magnificent cup of coffee, go to Jebena. Your tast buds will thank you.
