Whew. I was SO excited to try Mo Beignet this morning. Got there early, waited 15 minutes for them to open like a supportive citizen ready to spend her coins.
Walked in at 7:33… no lights on. The staff had just arrived around 7:30 and were casually playing in their hair like we were all getting ready for a sleepover instead of opening a business.
I stood there for 5 whole minutes. The only customer. Not a hello. Not a “Give us one second.” Not even eye contact. Just me Whew. I was SO excited to try Mo Beignet this morning. Got there early, waited 15 minutes for them to open like a supportive citizen ready to spend her coins.

Mo’Bay Beignet Co. is doing it right, m’kay. The beignets are fluffy, hot, and loaded with powdered sugar like they’re supposed to be. You bite into one and it’s soft, sweet, and just flat-out excellent, m’kay. Three is not enough. Get the 12-piece deal. That’s the correct decision.
Customer service is top tier. Staff is friendly, quick, and actually seem happy to be there, m’kay. Coffee is strong, smooth, and pairs perfectly with the beignets. Service is fast. No standing around wondering what’s going on.
Overall, outstanding experience. Will absolutely be back. Do not order only three, m’kay.

Tried this place because I was craving beignets and my friend recommended the location. Wasn’t sure at first, but after reading the reviews, I decided to come in. Best. Decision. Ever. The beignets themselves are FANTASTIC, but the customer service? Oh my gosh, I loooooove these girls! They were so sweet, and I loved talking them! I will DEFINITELY be back!

I’m a coffee snob girlie and I have to give props to mo’bay in hattie because those girlies behind the counter consistently make the best iced lattes. The espresso is smooth and strong and they do the perfect ice to liquid ratio (i like a lot of ice)
Beignets are delish too for sure but the iced lattes are *chef’s kiss*

Cafe Du who? Staff is always friendly and suggestive. Their beignets alone are amazing but get the buttercream syrup also and thank me later. Mixed Red Bull drinks are tasty and coffee is amazing. 10/10.

Needed coffee on our late night stretch of our road trip! This place was the only place still open. The barista that made our coffee was AMAZING! I love that she takes pride in making the perfect cup for everyone. Our coffee was so good! I got the Buttercream latte and the Beignet latte. Perfect! Of course grabbed some beignets for the road. So happy to experience this place and I love the story behind it! 10/10 definitely recommend! Such a good cup of joe!!!! #tellemGabbbsentya

We ordered a beignet latte (hot), strawberry lemonade, and mo’bay mocha. All of the drinks were fantastic! The latte was good, not too sweet. The lemonade seemed old fashioned- in all of the best ways. It was tart but not sour, and you could taste the strawberry AND lemon. I know this sounds obvious but imo most of the time you only taste sweet strawberry and hardly any bite from the citrus of the lemon. The mo’bay mocha was also great- if you enjoy chocolate coffee- this is your drink!
We also ordered the mini beignets, which I was a little skeptical at first. They were surprisingly delicious and perfect in size. In fact, we enjoyed them so much that we went back to order more.
This little coffee shop is a gem! It’s relaxed and inviting and so far from the typical, pretentious coffee shops that seem to be popping up like weeds.
We will definitely be making this a regular stop when we come to Hattiesburg. ❤️

Our beignets were warm and fresh. The homemade syrups, (We tried 2, the buttercream and the key lime!), were perfect! Our cinnamon (homemade syrup also) cappuccinos were coffee house quality. You can’t go wrong with a visit to this little cute shop right across from Southern Miss. I’m so glad Starbucks was packed so we decided to look local. My husband even said to make sure to mention their great cappuccino and he never says that. Hattiesburg food -We will be back!

Coffee was low quality. It’s worse than low quality store brand coffee.
At pay terminal asking for tips, but for what? No making special brew for each customer!
