We vacationed on North Captiva Island this week and one of the highlights was eating at this fabulous restaurant! I would highly recommend making The trip over for an amazing dining experience! Chef Pete is an Inventive and skilled chef! It is his art! Every single one of us in our group Absolutely loved their meal! Meals ranged from Maine lobster tail, smoked mahi dip, Wagyu steak, Smoked brisket, Ribeye steak, triple tail. Everything was made by the chef from scratch! They even had a gluten-free peanut butter pie I got to enjoy for dessert! Others in our group had pumpkin cheesecake. We all left in a happy food coma, and can’t wait to go back!

The food here was outstanding. Our group had lobster tails and steak, which were all perfectly seasoned and cooked. Chef Pete did an amazing job. Service was excellent. Make a reservation as the place is small so seating is limited. It’s also BYOB.

This was our first trip to N Captiva and we love it. We made reservations here and had swordfish and my wife had the lobster tail. The service was excellent and very attentive and timely. The dishes were absolutely off the charts. We live in Naples FL where the great seafood is plentiful but what we had at OTW was right there at the top. We are returning tonight.
This is a must do on the Island but reservations are highly recommended.
Yes, we went back tonight. I had the tuna tartare and scallops appetizers for dinner and my wife had the lobster for the second time. We will be back!

We had a lovely lunch at Over the Waterfront. This was our first time and had Mahi sandwich, Caesar salad, and some cheeseburgers. Everything was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you are staying on North Captiva or boating up for the day.

Awesome food and even better service and atmosphere! Gorgeous views and a host who was fun and attentive!
The kids loved their burgers, my husband had fresh fish with parm garlic fries (don’t miss out on these), and I had a super fresh Caesar salad!
Reservations required on Friday and Saturday night (dinner only) but lunch (Wednesday through Saturday) is first come, first serve.

We felt lucky to get into this awesome little spot! Make a reservation. Besides the pool bar, this was the only restaurant open on the island. We started our meal with beef barley soup. It was rich and delicious. Perfect. I’d go back just for that soup. My husband had sea bass with mashed potatoes and green beans for his entree. I had wild mushroom ravioli, smothered in a shredded chicken and vodka sauce. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and the ravioli was sooo filling. The sauce reminded me a little of my Dad’s chicken cacciatore. Old school flavor. We shared a piece of key lime pie with fresh whipped cream to finish out the meal. Memorable place, great service. Perfect for our last night on the island! Note – BYOB. They do have water and soft drinks. Don’t miss this one!

Came here with a group (7 of us total) and we all enjoyed our meal! I ordered conch fritters to start, which I’d definitely order again and chose the red snapper stuffed with crab for my entree. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal, especially dessert. A couple people ordered the key lime pie and a couple others ordered the bananas foster. I had a taste of a bananas foster and I think I might come back and just eat 3 of those next time! It was sooo tasty.

The food was good but could have used some more flavor. The waitress was nice and friendly. I definitely dont think the price of the food represented the quality. It’s very expensive and I guess I expected more.
