We really enjoyed our first visit to Little Jo-To’s. The shrimp tempura and hibachi was excellent just as I remember it from the original Jo-To’s with a great price point. In addition, the new setting is very elegant with a modern flare and mellow atmosphere. As a long time patron of the original Jo-To’s, I was really excited to see that the chef decided to reopen in our area. We will most definitely be coming back!

We have been searching For authentic Japanese hibachi food and have finally found it. The fried rice is fabulous the tempura outstanding but best of all was the teriyaki sauce. It was out of this world. The chef takes six hours to make it and you can tell.

Little Jo-To is an unassuming little spot in the middle of a small strip mall. Inside, it’s a quaint, nicely decorated and quiet little restaurant despite being nearly entirely full of patrons. Thankfully we were able to be seated right away without a dinner reservation. Our waitress Rachel was very attentive. We enjoyed the soup and salad to precede the main. I tried the chicken katsu which was perfectly fried and delicious and my SO tried the stir fry. Large portions with at least another’s meals worth in leftovers. We are torn between wanting to keep this a hidden gem for ourselves and telling everyone we know about it, haha. We will be back, especially to try out the lunch specials.

We enjoyed their quality food. There are numerous selections of Japanese dishes in their menu and what’s great was they also have a children’s menu. Our children enjoyed their chicken Katsu and said that it was very tasty. The bento box selections were phenomenal. The service was great, the atmosphere was very inviting and very clean.

I’ve been to many different hibachi spots across the tampa/bradenton/sarasota area and after my experience at Little Jo-To, I’ve got to admit- it takes the #1 spot. Soup, salad, and hibachi all came out right on time and it all tasted better than I had imagined. (personally recommend the chicken and scallops). Our waitress was incredibly nice, attended to all our needs and always checked back in with us to ask if we needed anything. They even give you little mints at the end of your meal to freshen up. If you’re ever considering checking this place out, take my word that it’ll be worth your time and money!

Little Joto restaurant is very welcoming, cosy & tastefully decorated with delicious Hibachi and variety of dishes. I order several small plates as the appetizer such as Eggs roll, Squids tempura, Fried Gyoza. I do love Beef Tataki, one of the best indeed. The meal has beautifully finished with Steak & Shrimps Hibachi which’s excellent well cooked just how I love both steak, shrimps & vegetables.
The services is top notch as the owner and her team welcome us with smile and they seem to really love what they do.

Enjoyed a great first night at this new neighborhood restaurant from the chef at the original Jo-To. The food was fresh, hot, cooked perfectly and it was all delicious! Egg roll appetizer was crisp and yummy, hibachi entrees w Miso soup, salad, and shrimp appetizer were all incredible. The service was prompt and very friendly. The restaurant makeover is amazing and the space is beautiful! We will definitely be back for more and often!
