We decided to try Woodie’s for some food and drink. The food was fabulous! Their Rueben sandwich was best Rueben, the apple kraut made the sandwich, the steak frites with chimichuri was very good. The staff very personable, making sure the guests were attended to. Bartender kept up with drink demands, also nice selections. Have to give credit to the cooking staff, food was prepared pretty fast and for such a small kitchen is amazing how they turned out for all guests. We will definitely be back to try other menu selections.

After having 3 different meals the food is just okay. I guess I was expecting better flavors for as high end as the environment feels. The burger patty is big but lacked flavor it’s just tastes like ground beef no seasoning. The fries were steak fries but they have changed to a battered fry like everyone else is in town. The fried chicken is probably the best tasting but it was like a ball of chicken. They hadn’t beat it or flattened it for a sandwich it was difficult to eat. The most annoying part is you have to order at the counter. Overall I will eat here sparingly.

The food at Woodies was good. Our chicken strips and fries were good. However I ordered a lemon meringue pie (didn’t even have meringue on top) because the flyer said it was $8. I got billed $10 for it and when I asked the man at the bar he said they made a mistake with the flyer and it was actually $10 then immediately went and changed the flyer price. He didn’t offer to refund the extra $2. On principle alone, we won’t be back. I feel like that was pretty lame and not a honorable way to handle the situation. Here we pre-tipped and everything.

Golfed here over the weekend. Really bad greens & bad pricing. Also there’s no heater on the top deck of the range for whatever reason, only on the bottom. Fries are just like any other place in Yakima. Burger has no seasonings added. Just a bad place in general. I strongly DO NOT recommend to any golfers unless you’re hitting the range where nobody can bother you. The owner is rude and disrespectful . My family/friends and I will never be back.
