This is hands down the BEST FAMIKY RESTAURANT! Great food , and the people there including the managers are the best I’ve ever met!!!! Thanks for making my daughter’s birthday extra special props to Jesus the assistant manager. You guys made our day great. Review after 2 visits:
The salsa, the jamica, the asada gordita, fiesta grill and green sauce were AMAZING.The birria was a major disappointment. No flavor and the consomme was not good.
I wish they had a half size of the chicharron with guacamole (appetizer for 4-5 people). I felt that 9.00 for queso that was bland and nothing special was a bit much in my opinion, yes a large bowl, but so thin you would have to go through 4 baskets of chips or pour on your food to use it all. A half size option would be nice. The first time I visited I could get a smaller bowl at half the price.
Overall, okay, a step above El Nopal.
Would I go back and try something else, maybe, it will definitely involve the asada!

Everything was absolutely delicious! The Birria Fries were loaded with flavor, the Beef Quesadilla was perfectly cooked and packed with savory goodness, and the Ceviche Mitotero was fresh, bright, and so flavorful. You can really taste the quality in every bite. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the breakfast Molcajete dish it was delicious. The dish is enough for 2 so we had plenty of leftovers that were just as good later that day.

We loved our dinner here! Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I really enjoyed the chips, guacamole, queso and salsa. For my meal I had the birria quesadilla. The birria had great flavor and melted in your mouth, it went so well with the fresh toppings and consommé. The Ensalada Mariachi was so fresh. I love how it balanced the flavors with the greens, avocado, vegetables, shrimp, steak and chicken. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, and the staff was very patient with our group. This place is a great find if you’re looking for a tasty, filling meal for a reasonable price. Don’t forget the margaritas, delicious!

Came from out of town in the blue grass heartland of Louisville and was in the mood for my Latin roots palette and this place really surprised me. The staff is above beyond Hispanic warm welcoming at home feeling, even gave my family authentic mariachi hats to celebrate ! Got to pick a comfortable booth. I ordered a classic carne de asada plate comes with Mexican beans and rice guac and a slice of queso fresco I felt like the steak was executed exceptionally! The rice and beans are simple yet decadent. The garnishes were also fresh so that is something I truly appreciate in food service. Horchata could use little more cinnamon and maybe let the rice sit in water over night it wasn’t a wow factor simple and pleasant. I will add that the queso dip was almost 10$ and it was horrible plain and no flavor. I was expecting chorizo or spice in it and it felt like I was dipping chips in buttermilk. I would recommend to add fresh chorizo from the grocery store next door and add mild jalapeño spice into the cheese dip to elevate the appetizer and fresh Oaxaca Chihuahua cheese to bring the authenticity of Mexico. I think other dishes bring up the value of the place and the environment truly captures Mexican heritage a true gem of the south centering Hispanic culture. The place is above clean and neat which is a highly respected and they cater to festivities as well. This was a fun and invigorating place to have dinner and will definitely come back when I’m back in town!

Absolutely wonderful experience at El Mariachi today. The place is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious. The servers and hostess are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered the steak fajita and the chori pollo. Servings were very generous. Everything we ate was top notch. They have menudo on the menu as well. The bakery next door provides desserts, and we had the tres leches cake. Phenomenal. Highly recommended!

Very very clean!! The food was also pretty good. Honestly some of the better Mexican food I’ve had. My only real complaint was the poor service despite us being one of three tables in the restaurant. But overall I recommend!!
