Small town diner
At East 20 Pizza, where the ovens glow bright,
Each slice is perfection — a pure delight.
The crust is golden, the cheese melts slow,
A flavor adventure in every dough.

But the real star shining, just so you know,
Is the waiter of legend — the one called Yolo.
With laughter and charm, he lights up the place,
A smile so warm, joy written on his face.

He jokes, “You only live once — so grab that slice!”
And somehow, that wisdom just feels right.
Because pizza and laughter, hand in hand,
Make East 20 Pizza the best in the land.

So here’s to the pies, and the man we adore,
Yolo, the waiter, who keeps spirits soaring once more. ✨

Great meal with a large group (20+)! We were outside in the winter on their deck but the table fire pits made it comfortable.

The food was fresh and delicious. I custom-ordered my own pizza since I have dietary restrictions. The gluten-free crust was one of the best I’ve had yet! And the toppings were generous. I appreciated that they had a gluten-free beer made from buckwheat and rice. The staff was friendly and gave me a few cups of marinara to dollop on my pizza for free.

I’ll definitely return when I’m visiting Winthrop!

The place is definitely suited for groups and not couples. The hostess is awesome! In fact, I had to adk her to send me a server after sitting for 20 min.
The server checked in after that, which I appreciated.
The pizzas seemed well cooked, but the calzobe was burned on top (see photo) and while the server saw me removing charred bread, she didn’t address it.
The toppings were good, but the inside was wet (watery).
The pan had a piece of chicken on it. That will send any vegetarian running.
Great rotating beer selection!
I’d say this is an OK stop, but not a must try.

We were just coming off the road and we’re so hungry and pizza sounded like the ideal thing to my companion and i. We unloaded the car and headed right for East 20 Pizza that we had seen on the way into town. Excellent decision for a meal for these two straggly travelers.
I got the Bellamini pizza, 8″ and my friend got the Greek pizza. My pizza had mozzarella, goat, chevre, double mushrooms roasted red peppers onions and I can’t remember what else. It is thin crust and so delicious. I washed it down with a local pilsner beer.
Our waitress Cameron was a doll. We’re here for three nights and I’m going back because I saw a Burrata Pizza that I have to have!
We even got tips on hiking trails locally.
I don’t think I want to eat anywhere else in Winthrop

On a cold and misty night, in our nearly abandoned mountain hotel, our restaurant closed 2 hours early. Famished, my partner and I drove our cars down the hill and slid like looney tunes characters to this absolute divine, lovely, sacrine safe haven of a pizza joint, to satisfy our yearning big bellies for some yummers. We ordered our grub in advance, and the employees were exponentially patient waiting for us to arrive. Despite our unintended tardiness, the staff were super sweet, and handed us a glorious meat lovers pizza (with spinach and mushrooms added on), like a princess awarding a knight with a sword, or Arthur pulling the sword from the previously unattainable stone. My partner and I drove up to our room in a hurry, and guys, this pizza was absolutely divine. One slice had an entire ball of Canadian bacon on it, for my meat loving partner to smush his cute little cheeks into. If ANY of you heard the sounds coming out of our hotel room after opening the pizza box, you’d assume we were making passionate, sweet, love.

No, that was not the case indeed.

We were smacking our greasy hungry lips together for a divine treat that was blessed to our digestion, with no conversation between us two, except how amazing, flavorful, and overall perfectly-cooked this pizza was.

If we could give this place a 10/5, we absolutely would. God bless the staff, we love you all.

Delicious pizza, very clean restrooms with cute poster decor, and awesome outdoor patio seating with fire tables and heaters. Great spot for dates, family meals, or group gatherings. Many special pizza flavors to choose from on the menu. Wish there could be wings it would be really good with beer.

While out of town on business I stopped in for dinner. This place in general is great! I had the local blonde beer, and build your own pizza which were both fantastic. Shout out to the waitress for talking me into eating there. I would highly recommend if you are ever in Winthrop. Just come take a taste ride for yourself…….you will not be disappointed! Thank y’all East 20 Pizza Team! Keep up the great work

We stayed in Winthrop two nights while visiting North Cascades and ended up here both nights. The first night we ate inside and the AC was definitely broken but the pizza was so fresh and tasty, we ordered it to go the second night. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was awesome!!

As we walked up, the smell of pizza wafted through the air, it smelled so good. This place did not disappoint! We ordered the breadsticks and a pitcher of beer from their happy hour. $15 pitchers or $4.50 pints and $5 breadsticks. My husband and I decided to try the freshetable and Thai calzones and split them. We both agreed the Thai one was the best, especially with the taste of peanuts they have in it. A thing to note, I cannot handle spicy nor do I like pineapple (unless on pizza) and this wasn’t spicy at all, so don’t let that deter you from trying it. We left here happy and full. If we are back in the area again, this will be our first food stop!

I don’t usually write reviews, but Yolo absolutely deserves one. From the moment we sat down, he brought the kind of energy and professionalism that makes a meal memorable. He greeted us with a big smile, made sure we felt welcome, and had great recommendations that hit the spot you could tell he really knows the menu. What stood out most was how attentive he was without ever being overbearing. Drinks stayed full, our pizza came out perfectly timed, and he checked in at just the right moments. You could see he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.Yolo’s attitude was top-tier friendly, confident, and just smooth with everything he did. It’s rare to see someone make customer service look that effortless. If every restaurant had a Yolo, dining out would always be a 10/10.If you stop by, ask for Yolo. He’s the real MVP the kind of server that turns a simple pizza night into something special.
