My daughter said the fish taco was “fire”, which I guess is Gen Z for absolutely fabulous. We had the Ahi fish tacos (amazing), Spam taco, Gringo Locos taco and the Pork Belly Confit taco. They were sold out of chicken tacos. We also had the rice & beans—very good. I would eat here every day if I could! If you have to choose one taco, get the fish. There is a lot of covered seating next to the food truck.

This is within our top three things we ate while on Kauai. We wish we could’ve ate here again, but due to the hours they were open we were unable to. They have a variety of fillings with homemade sauces and I believe homemade corn tortillas as well we got the fish of the day tacos, which was mahi-mahi. We also tried the pork Carnitas. They have several drink options, including some flavored soda waters
They were absolutely incredible. The sauces they paired with each taco is so vibrant and complementary. We also got the side of rice and beans which was good but it is almost as much as a taco and I personally would’ve rather had another taco because they were so delicious! I cannot recommend this place enough!
There is not a public restroom as it is a taco truck, but there is a handwashing station

We stayed a minute away so we tried this by chance not expecting anything, and ended up being one of the best meals of the trip. Fish taco (mahi) was outrageous.

We were in the mood for some fish tacos on our drive north, and Little Fattie’s popped up on our route and was very highly rated. We pulled in where there were 2 taco trucks, and Little Fattie’s stood out with a great set up that had lots of seating; it seemed more restaurant-like than food truck.
They don’t list their prices on the outside menu, and we were surprised when we took a look at their laminated menu which was handed to us by the woman at the order window (when we asked about it). We ordered one chicken taco ($8) and one fish taco ($10). Neither came with anything; just the taco.
On the plus side: they were delicious. High quality, well seasoned and cooked, with a pickled onions twist. We chose 2 different salsas that complemented each taco (as recommended by the gentlemen at the pick up window). The tacos came out relatively quickly, and they were hot.
The reason why we only gave them 4 stars was the overall value. The amount of protein in each taco was in line with the size of the taco; however, the size was a normal taco, and the price was very high for a normal-size taco.
Our limited experience suggests that prices on Kauai are higher than what we are used to, but this seemed a little out of balance even for island premium. That said, if you are looking for very good, high quality, high priced normal-sized tacos, Little Fattie’s is an excellent choice.

We tried the tofu tacos and the crispy avocado tacos that they made for us as they were out of squash. The avocado tempura tacos were delicious and perfectly balanced. I hope they add it to their menu!
