We enjoyed our experience here. Food was good. The new birrias were ok, coming from Texas it cannot find them tex mex birrias anymore. We didn’t get any refills or service but we weren’t that needy. The chips and dip are really good. Would come again and see how it is next time.

We recently visited Rio Cantina for the first time a few days ago. We’ve passed by a number of times and decided to finally stop in. We had a great time! The service was extremely fast and friendly. Everyone was all smiles throughout our service. The food was delicious and came out quick and piping hot. The portions were full and we had plenty of left overs for a second meal the next day! We are going to plan a large group dinner next time all our family is in town because it will be perfect for us!

Great restaurant tucked away in a strip mall and much bigger than it looks from the outside. Our bartender Marvin was awesome and the food was amazing! The best birria tacos I’ve ever had and a must try! On Saturdays they have a bottle of champagne and orange juice for mimosas for $10. A++++

We tried Rio Cantina for the first time for my wife’s birthday. The margaritas were good and discounted on Wednesdays so we went on a good day! The food came out quickly and was very good. Prices are decent and portions are large. Service was very good and we’re already planning on going back.

Chips and salsa (also served a black bean dip with the chips) were very good. Really liked the steak and spinach quesadilla. Taco salad was good as well. The sizzling apple pie with ice cream and caramel sauce was amazing! And our server, Kyleigh, was excellent. No complaints. Recommend!

Finally!!! A great Mexican restaurant in Baton rouge.
The chips and salsa were good. They give black bean dip with the salsa. The margaritas were really good and priced well. The food was seasoned and tender and it felt like Chick-fil-A taught them customer service. Haha. Everyone was so nice and our server did an amazing job. We were very happy and plan to be back. The bar has a great setup for watching the games as well.
