My boy and I decided to stay local today for lunch and try Jerods out. He ordered the cheeseburger and I ordered the Frisco burger. We got fries and and had to try the fried pickles. He gave his burger 4 out 5 for flavor, but said the fries were a little dry. The fried pickles he said were really good, and recommends them over the fries. The frisco burger was good. It comes with more cheese than I was anticipating, which made the burger taste really good. The only item of note is that this is a cash or check only place, no plastic. Overall, good food, and we recommend Jerods!

Service was great. They had a versatile band called Nathan Dean & the Damn Band in which are very good and talented. The food service was shut off due to the band playing however in time, I may go back to check out their food. Friendly atmosphere.

The owner of Crooked Roof in Lanark was nothing but rude and no hospitality for a casual Sunday late afternoon. Too bad since we had a group of 7 ready to have drinks and dinner so we just had one and moved on for a more welcoming environment. Poor management can bust a small town place! J’Rods in Shannon was wonderful and worth the small drive! Best service in that area and the owner does nothing but accommodate customers! We had great food & service!!!
