Tacos El Bajio

Every time in the last year I’ve been more and more disappointed with each occasion, I’ve ordered from one side of the menu to the other and every order has the same taste and seasoning. With the size of my family (6 of us) it’s normally 55 dollars for a to go order and 75-80 dollars for dine in, tonight I draw the line and write this review for a 40 dollar bill (greeted with a sign stating a new charge for using cards) for the 2 of us and I find a hair in my food and something resembling rocks, crunchy and no clue and don’t want to know what it was. From now on I will drive over an hour away for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, very nice and clean inside. Salsa is wonderful not too spicy but taste very very good. Had a taco and quesadilla for dinner and sopapillas for dessert, currently driving home doing the happy tummy dance in my car.

Went with my husband who is Mexican and his workers and they treated them bad they accused the guys of stealing their spoon. There were 13 people and they said they brought 13 silverware but there were only 12 I mean who would steal their cheap thin silverware anyways? It was supposed to be nice evening after work, but they ruined it. It is messy inside and there is a child on the high chair who knows how long whole day while they cook and the child was screaming and crying you can’t even eat too loud. It’s dark inside. Food is okay but need more seasoning it is very light taste not real food. Bad business rude service. I’m going to report this restaurant. Horrible service horrible don’t recommend

town….from the outside it’s simple but once you get inside there is
Mexican aura…happy staff…colorful…my food was great…the owner’s little girl giggled while we played peek a boo…fun..

Carlos provided most excellent service and the food was quick to be served. The price was great for the atmosphere. There was a bell rung for every meal that was ordered and it rang so much from the to go orders.

Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. I’ve stopped here several times on the way through town and was very pleased each time. I typically have just a couple of soft-shell tacos and they come wrapped in foil, most and delicious! The chips and salsa are also very good and they now serve a variety of Mexican beers. Definitely worth your stop!

Being from So. Cal. I know good Mexican food. It’s hard to find out here in South Dakota. I can say the food here is as authentic as what I get at home. Prices are reasonable, fast friendly staff and they have take out too. Next year when we are back in Wilmot we will definitely dine here again.
