So Ive come to this place for years, maybe even decades now. Maybe its under new ownership?

Service is better than the past. I just have one concern, I ordered some food inside and sat right outside. I didn’t ask for it to-go and it was brought out to me in a to-go container and bag even though one of the employees brought out utensils and a napkins for me to dine in. Once I opened the bag, it definitely seems like the portion size got smaller. If this was brought out as a dine in would my portion size have been bigger? The size and price is definitely along the lines of music festival food prices…

I ordered the braised beef dry noodles and a regular size love potion #6 (it used to be #9 but I imagine copyright/loyalties litigation probably arose at some point) and it came out to $20 (a little over because I still tipped).

I’ve probably been here about five times, and every single time the staff have been amazing! The service is always excellent 🙂 Thank you for giving my son and me such a wonderful dinner experience. We truly loved your takoyaki and pork chop rice. We’ll definitely come back again!☺️☺️☺️

This is a very good choice for Taiwan street food. The wantons were just as good as those in Taiwan and the 3-cup chicken lunch combo was decent, except it was a bit too sweet. We also tried the deep fried fish balls, which were really good, though I’m sure it wasn’t very healthy. The service was friendly and excellent. The eating area was clean and comfortable. I gave a 5-star rating due to its friendly service and closeness to authenticity of Taiwanese Chinese food (not to be confused with Taiwanese Food).

Regular is small 🙁
I wish there was a 85° Bakery nearby. They should open one at The Marketplace across the street!

Green Shaker by Ten Ren is a cozy spot for bubble tea and light bites in Walnut. Their drink menu is extensive. Snacks like the popping fish balls and popcorn chicken add a tasty, casual touch, though food quality can be hit-or-miss compared to the drinks. Service is generally friendly, and the space has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that’s great for hanging out or studying. Prices are reasonable. Green Shaker delivers a satisfying experience—especially if you’re here mainly for the tea.

I tried their strawberry matcha- it was alright. A little too sweet and didn’t have a strong matcha taste (good for those that aren’t fans of it I guess)

Never been experiencing Ten Ren as worst as today at Grand and Valley walnut. Buy 2 cup of honey green tea with Aloe, usually the aloe is about 1″ at the bottom of the cup this time only enough to cover the bottom. Is aloe price just went up so Ten Ren think they need to cut the portion? That cutting the portion more than half compare to regular. I been with Ten Ren for around 20 years since Alhambra and San Gabriel. The one that make it 1 star is how the attendant respond to my complaint. When I ask why the aloe is so little, she just said light that how the scop is with “I don’t care face”

Many drinks to pick from, but occasionally hit and miss in the drinks, sometimes it tastes great and other times the mixture is off, but it’s pretty good. Nice location with a big parking structure with so many other stores around. Watermelon and Passion fruit green tea.

Boba shops are everywhere in Southern California, but Ten Ren stands out for one simple reason: quality. The difference here is in the ingredients, and especially the tea. It’s what sets Ten Ren apart from other similar spots, even if most people can’t quite put their finger on it. All they know is that the drinks here just taste better. For me, it’s all about the Milk Tea Boba—rich, smooth, and consistently great. If you’re looking for a standout boba experience, Ten Ren is the place to go.

My first time coming here and I tried the white peach oolong tea. It was so refreshing, sweet and tasted just like peach. Definitely my new favorite tea spot and everyone was very kind.
