This is a hidden jem. A must try. The food was absolutely incredibly delicious! We had the Bouillanese, the Shrimp pasta special and the Apple dessert. Will be back again to try everything else on the menu. The food looked so good I forgot to take a picture to share. This Pic was our view from our seats. Highly recommend. Give them some love.

There’s not a lot of options in the area so we tried this restaurant as we always pass by it on our way to Monterey. The fish in the taco they served us was not fresh, there was a funny taste to it. I expected the freshest seafood for it’s location on marina. I think it was days old fish they needed to get rid of or else it will end up in trash. Burger was good and poke was ok. There were items we wanted to try on their drink menu but they were out.

A hidden gem on the water with tasty options of seafood, poke bowls, woodfire pizza, and more. Ask about daily specials, and the non-alcoholic options and enjoy!

My new friends treated me to this place for my Birthday. Didn’t even know it existed. We showed up when they were short of staff but the wait wasn’t horrible.

Very little options. I chose fish n chips. I would recommend because it was a larger portion to have a plate to be able to work with. Maybe a few more sauce options.

View was pretty neat location and I loved the octopus fire pit which we got to sit infront of. Fries were salted perfectly. Just wish there were other sauce options.

Ladies there were all really nice! Will be back!

The recent toxic battery fire near the stacks on the opposite side of highway 1 should have made avoid this overly expensive resturant altogether. Bait & switch? I feel this business will likely fail by the end of 2026 unless major changes happen. Read ALL the reviews. My food was good, but not even close worth it for the price. I almost forgot to mention the BS hidden “service fees” you don’t find out about until after the bill arrives. I believe our table of two was hit with an additional BS fee of over $6 just for dining there. It cost $80 for 2 plates and 1 beer. The resturant is still presenting customers with a menu that has items on it that are no longer on the menu! My party was told sorry, we’re out of this or that the item is still on the menu, just no longer served. I felt like this bait & switch was intentionally done to force customers to spend more money. The “special” costs atleast 2X what other menu items cost, but you won’t find out about it until you pay! Classy. Do not recommend, especially not for tourists.

DELICIOUS!! The Bouillabaisse is not to miss! It is perfection in a bowl broth is to die for, seafood is perfectly cooked…atmosphere is cozy and pretty, water view, watch the boats come and go, cute fire pit, market lights, indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the counter and grab your drinks, they bring the food out. Order extra bread or extra tarter sauce for a small fee right up front, both are excellent. Fish and chips were delicious and fish was thick with crispy, thin breeding. Bartender was very nice, pleasant and welcoming 🙂 table staff was a little busy that day and not too many smiles from them but we will cut them a break for being super busy. All did a great job we will return!

Great location, right on the water, across from the barking sea lions and the laughing seagulls.
The sea lions are close enough that you can hear them, but far enough that you don’t smell them.
Service is attentive and friendly.
The ahi tuna was a little overcooked for my taste, and it was expensive, $41, the fish tacos are a good deal, and the calamari were done well. Overall we all enjoyed our food in such a great setting.

Great food and a great view of the harbor. Had fries and fresh calamari. The waitress was super friendly and helpful despite being on her own. Just be careful of the sea gulls eyeing your food

Edit: Came back here again a month later with family this time and we tried the clam chowder. Love the seasoning and the crunchy croutons included. Ordered the calamari and chowder to go because they’re so delicious!

Edit 2 (April 2025): They removed fried calamari from the menu but they hope to bring it back in the future. Portion sizes are definitely smaller now but it’s understandable as everything is expensive. Still really delicious food.

We spied the harbor front table seating while heading out on a whale watch tour and returned there for lunch afterwards. An amazing find. It was a beautiful day out, so we requested outdoor seating. Staff was really pleasant and attentive. Food was great and this is not at all a tourist mediocre stop like some other harbor front places on the Monterey Bay. Decent pricing. We will for sure be returning on trips between Santa Cruz and Monterey.
