I’m from San Diego and we claim to have the best Mexican food around. However this meat market has the best Mexican food I had ever had. It literally took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen. Handmade tortillas and the most flavorful meats make it truly an authentic Mexican food. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality while my brief stay in the area.

This food has been amazing since the day they started out, selling tamales by the dozen off the tailgate of their pickup on the side of 80 and at the old tennis court. Slightly overpriced for this small town, but the food never disappoints. Wish they were open for at least a little while on Sundays. Everyone loves Mexican grub on Sundays, yet Luna’s, Paco’s, and La Pradera are all closed this day!

The employees need work on their customer skills. There are no prices to the food being ordered — that I saw. If I’m incorrect, forgive me. The food was good, but it was EXTREMELY greasy. There is no order to their Kitchen. They had two types of Mexican music blaring. It was overwhelming. I’ll go back, only to try their Mexican bread. Hopefully.

Great place for lunch! Even better if your looking for fresh meats this is the place. The marinated meats are excellent!! I recommend the marinated Carne Asada …. delicious on the grill. The market has fresh tortillas also a good selection of fresh vegetables and salsas.
