This was our first time ever eating here. I read people talking about how great it was on Facebook but it was disgusting. I spit my food out on my napkin. It was the cod and by far the worst I’ve ever had and I’ve traveled all over the United States. The server was great. Drinks were bad. Way overpriced. Would I eat here again?, never. I think the only reason people said it was so great is because there are barely any restaurants in this small town. So I guess they meant it’s better than Sonic but I still think Sonic is better. I would drive to Weatherford for Fort Worth

Pretty good and I will be going back. Only had 1 menu for us to share. Delicious food. Just needs to step up the service a little bit. Our first waiter forgot about us but another guy stepped up and waited on us. Good visit after that.

Very cute restaurant with a great setting next to the railroad. Small open setting with few tables so the wait can be long at times even though there’s not that many people there. Bar is cute with great selections. Food is delish but does take awhile to come out almost every time we’ve been there. Good brunch and main courses but weird appetizer selections. Would appreciate more “normal” appetizers. Overall nice New restaurant in Aledo with great potential!

I got the hot turkey & avocado but switched to regular sourdough instead of jalapeno. It was a good sandwich and everyone in my group liked the fries! Everyone liked what they got. The restaurant is nice and open and very clean. I would eat here again.

Sometimes different translates to incredible. My wife and I ate here today. I had the fried ribeye. My wife had the salmon piccata. On the first bite of the salmon she simply raised her hands as if saying she is defeated. When she finally did speak she said “I’m dead. There are no words for how good this is.” Well, knowing her, I had to try it myself…you know, to make sure she wasn’t fibbing. And WOW! She was absolutely correct. I also have no words. That was, hands down, the best salmon I have tasted to date. That’s all I can say. And I have eaten salmon my whole life.
On to my fried ribeye. Basically this is what most know as chicken fried steak, but using a ribeye instead of tenderized cube steak. The flavor was amazing. It didn’t steal the show from the salmon piccata, but it was certainly on stage and near center. I will order it again in the future, and again, and again, and again….right after ordering the salmon piccata, of course.
If you’re considering dining at Bistro 1031, stop debating with yourself and just do it. You’ll be happy you did. Your taste buds will be happy you did. And you will plan your next visit before you even leave. I know I am.

Pretty good lunch, lobster bisque was spot on, my hot chkn sandwich was full flamethrower and a bit messy.. as to be expected though. Decent beer choices. Jonathan was solid bartender

Wish i had taken a photo with the food on my plate (sorry about that) but I was extremely disappointed in the shrimp and grits. It looked nothing like the photos I saw in reviews previously (served in a cast-iron skillet, lookin’ cheesy) and it was nasty. This was not shrimp and grits. “Grits” seemed more like couscous, and it was way too spicy to eat (and I’m fine with spice). The salsa was good! Didn’t care for the queso (velveeta like). The cocktails were WAY too strong and not good at all. I think i got the Bees Knees one (lavender) and it was just straight gin. Didn’t care for the one with jalapeño either. I’ve been here before and had a burger which I thought was pretty good, but this shrimp and grits has got to go with a revamp on cocktails.

The steak is only served on the weekends. This is my new local favorite. Great food. Clean. Excellent physical distancing. If you live in Aledo or Hudson Oaks, skip crowds and traffic and eat here.

So, we visited from the middle of the Metroplex, because one of our old friends co-owns the place. It was some of the best food and drinks we have ever had! It is a far drive, but totally worth it. We all ordered different things on the menu, so we could try as much as possible. The mussels appetizer and the lobster bisque were phenomenal! The Texas cheese steak sandwich and lobster pasta were both amazing, but the drinks and desserts were the icing on the cake. We had the chocolate cake, bread pudding and crem brulee. They were very delicious. We will be back to see you guys for sure!!

Wish I could give 6 stars. Wonderful restaurant. Every single employee is a 10/10 nice and courteous and very inviting. The restaurant is so well designed and is in a great location; awesome small town Aledo feel. For being modest in size the menu is huge! So many choices. So far everything my family and I have tried has been delicious. We’re definitely putting this into the regular rotation.
