The Double with cheese and bacon was absolutely delicious! The patties were deliciously seasoned, the buns buttered and toasted to perfection, and the rocket fries were a total delight. The location was super convenient, plenty of parking and room. Th service was nice enough, quick, and efficient. I would definitely come back here when I get another hankering for a burger.

I got a single cheese burger with a lettuce wrap (extra $1) and small fries.
The burger is very juicy and has good sauce, but probably wouldn’t recommend getting the single as a lettuce wrap since the patty is smashed down thin and it falls apart easily.
Total before tip for this order was $13 which isn’t terrible, but I wish they offered combos as the price is quite expensive for just a burger and fries compared to other local burger joints.

Didn’t Really “Skyrocket” My Taste Buds I’ve been wanting to try Burger for a while now. The burger was okay, but definitely not something that makes you take off or “skyrocket” anywhere just an average burger. Nothing bad, nothing mind-blowing.
The real issue was the pricing. There’s no simple combo. A basic burger and soda came out to over $15, and if you add fries, you’re looking at around $20 with tax For a casual burger spot, that’s pretty steep for something that tastes just fine, not amazing.
Staff just took my order and that was it not rude, but definitely not welcoming or engaging.
The place looks clean, but overall, it didn’t feel worth the price or the hype. I wouldn’t come back.

Easily a top 3 burger in all of DFW. Somehow you get the taste and texture of a smash patty but it’s not thin. It’s actually a nice sized patty. I either order a double or triple and I substitute for cheddar cheese and add jalapenos and bacon. The sesame seed bun is perfect and soaks up all the juice from the patty so nicely. The service is always quick and friendly and it’s a nice chill and quiet spot to enjoy your food. I drive all the way from Arlington to this location and it’s always worth it. The fries and tots are really good too. They stay crispy and taste so good when you dip into their secret sauce. Last but not least they have all natural real cane sugar soda fountain. Absolutely amazing. 10/10 for this place

Really good & solid burger. If I was just rating the burger this would be 5 stars, but I did order fries and the fries just weren’t cutting it. A place with this good of a burger should have better fries! Will definitely go back because the burger was good enough though!

My son-in-law is faithful to the Sky Rocket. It was a 15-mile drive, but it can take 20-30 mins at the wrong time of day- no biggie. I went all in. The Lewisville location is no dine-in experience- tables and chairs and a smallish space but clean, and it works. It’s not an old-school hole in the wall but a new, fresh one! The double cheeseburger was fresh, and the meaty flavor stood out. The focus is on the meat, not the cheese, which I prefer more cheese, or the sauce, which I like plenty of—I loved the sesame seed bun, which is very fresh and durable. I would say the burger isn’t Huge, But at $10 today, that’s what you get for freshly made. The chocolate shake was good again; it was not huge, and it was not earth-shattering. It worked. His fries are thicker, plentiful, and hot, hot, hot. Cause they are fresh. The rocket fries were delicious as well, but a bit spicy. They are smothered in cheese, onions, and secret sauce. I think the secret sauce has cayenne pepper. I didn’t taste any spicy in my burger, though it has secret sauce. I think burger fans need to try this spot—others will think it’s a good burger. Some will come back with cravings. All credit for original pour yourself fou rain colas too- some love it.3 of us and a toddler who knocked back a 1/4 pound patty only, was about $60 with tip.3 doubles, 1 large fry, 1 rocket fry, 2 drinks and a shake.

Review based on first visit to Sky Rocket. Very simple menu. Hamburgers, grilled cheese, fries and tater tots. That’s really all they have. No fancy condiment toppings here.
Wanted to try this place after hearing it was one of the better burgers in DFW.
Liked that the sesame seed bun came out toasted with a bit of toasted crunch texture. Condiment portions were good with nothing overpowering the others. Tots came out hot and crispy.
Everything was good but nothing that really stood out. It’s a little far from my house but would go again if I’m in the area.

PHENOMENAL burger. The sauce makes the burger taste so good. The burger is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, if not the best. Made-to-order burgers & I’ve milkshakes with real Blue Bell ice cream. It’s very convenient, as it’s close to the Castle Hills neighborhood, easily accessible by golf cart (if you’re willing to cross Parker). My new favorite burger spot. Will come again so many times! 5 stars, wish I could do more!

I have to say I was highly disappointed in the service at the Lewisville location I placed a order for dine in which the order came out wrong which is no problem because I know sometimes it that happens so I notified the cashier and she took the food back to the kitchen for them to fix a few minutes later she came back out with the burger so as I am about to eat something told me to look again to make sure as I looked it happen to be the same burger and all the guys in the back did was scrape the sauce off n give it right back. I’m disappointed because I asked for no sauce at all because there are certain ingredients in the sauce that I am allergic to so it felt like a slap in the face so I was pretty frustrated at this point so I got a refund no problem. I will say after a long day of hard labor to have to deal with the laziness of the cook is very frustrating. I’m pretty bummed about the Lewisville location iv never had a problem with the Plano location in which we have eaten there plenty of times. The Plano location staff is amazing and makes you feel very welcomed so thank you Plano sky rocket burger
