Hit and miss with flavour. We really enjoyed the salmon teriyaki don, that’s a 4/4.5 with fresh tender salmon and pleasant flavour, highly recommend, but the grilled fish don and spicy beef don were very average (despite the spicy beef don looking well with pink visible on the beef), the texture was a little tough. So just missing a little consistency, but I would recommend for the salmon.

The best Japanese restaurant I have ever met. I already left Nelson for a few years but still miss the salmon dish there. It left me good memories that was when I was down I went there to have dishes and their dishes always comforted my stomach and also my heart. And the price is affordable for that good quality salmon. I have not met a better Japanese restaurant than this one up to now. I really miss it.

Lunching here never fails to please. Always fresh ingredients with excellent balance and flavour. Each dish is delicious which makes it a hard to choose. Prawn Tempura is a favourite till we tried Garlic Fish, Salmon Sashimi, Salmon Teriyaki, Squid Salad and so the list goes on. . . all beautifully presented by the lovely courteous staff.
