Probably the best Chinese in all central Iowa. My wife and I have looked all for great tasting eat-in, take out and delivery restaurant. Maybe not the dine-in location if you are looking for glamor but that isn’t the intention. Good, FRESH food at a reasonable price with a huge menu. Easy ordering online. The General Tso’s is my personal favorite but wife loves the pork rice noodles and she is picky about those. Give it a try…they should be slammed every day!

We haven’t eaten here in years and we were in the mood for Asian but our usual place was closed. I read the reviews and they were very good under the new ownership so we thought that we would give them a try and got a “To go” order. I have to admit, everything was very good and still hot when we got it home. They texted us when it was done and ready for pickup which was an appreciated service! Chicken on a stick was very meaty and cooked perfectly but a little light on flavor. The hot and sour soup was very good but more spice would have been nice. The Orange chicken was great and very aromatic with fresh orange peal. General Tso’s was good but not spicy enough for us. The beef and broccoli was on point, flavorful and tender. The servings are huge so we have a couple of days worth of leftovers.

New owners, food was served in cheap plastic take out trays. When i had already ordered i noticed that a table was eating off paper plates. When the food came out it was not good at all rice was almost orange definitely not supposed to look like that for fried rice, chicken was gross and tasted weird. Wonton soup was salty and served in a plastic take out container. And to top it all off my girlfriend had found a nail in her fried rice when she was eating it after i went to pay for the meal. Just wanted to be respectful and say that there was a nail in the food when leaving we heard what sounded like two grown men laughing most likely about the finger nail.
Used to be a great restaurant but now with the new owners. The food is worse than school cafeteria food.
Please do not spend your hard earned money here!!

The food was excellent!! Friendly wait staff!
Wish there would have been real plates and silverware tho. Was a bit tough to cut the meat with a plastic fork. I’ll definitely return!!! ( But…Next time with my own table service.)

So glad we gave this place another try after several years. We didn’t realize that ownership had changed late last year since it still operates under the same Fuji name. What a difference! The food is fresh, hot, large portions and delicious. The new owners are incredibly nice and friendly. We have been going once a week since rediscovering this restaurant.

Service was excellent and wait staff was very attentive. Lunch menu had many options and reasonably priced as entree included soup, rice and appetizer. Food was served hot and out to our table very quickly. Overall, great experience and will be back again.

I would like to start by saying it is very hard to beat my #1 Chinese Restaurant. Fuji Chinese Restaurant has taken the #1 spot for best food all around, great atmosphere along with the service and the price is average. As for returning and promoting the business through word of mouth, there’s a 100% guarantee of that.
