The first time I came here I waited 45 minutes for my food. I told myself it would have to be some of the most incredible food I’d ever had in order to be worth it. I came back for my very next meal.
I grew up in California and have an obnoxiously high standard for Mexican food. Most places I’ve found in the PNW don’t live up to it. But Tacos La Oaxaqueña is among the very best. The sides are generous, delicious, and not an afterthought at all. All the flavors are deeply developed and perfectly combined, the staff (although seemingly always dealing with too much at once) are always kind and friendly. You honestly can’t ask for more from a food truck. I understand the wait now, it seems I’m far from the only person to realize how incredible this place is.

I have been on a mission to find authentic Mexican food in this area for years and this place was amazingly delicious! Best I’ve had so far. Clean and the people working there were extremely friendly. Will be going here more often. Great job!

I got the young girls torta again . 02/10/23 it has American cheese on it no mayo no beans like normal tortas I paid $14.31 for an americanized diet torta …. Screw that I would go to subway for $6 and get that. I am adding to my past review .
The best Tortas ever unless the young girl is working but she is usually down at the one by the old red apple.

The food is very good, but I had to wait 30 minutes for three tacos, and people that ordered after me got served before me. That said, the staff was very friendly!

One of my favorite spots, but prices are too steep for me to go with regularity anymore.

Some of the best mexican food my husband and I have had! Great service, quality food and kind service. If the weather is nice, enjoy a meal near the huge madrona tree nearby. We were passing through and enjoyed the Oaxacan torta and an authentic al pastor burrito and had leftovers. We’re passing through, but will now be a destination!

I have no complaints about the food, it was good. I believe that the kids that work there are charging whatever they want and keeping the difference between that and menu price. You can’t really make out the priced on the menu, it’s all smudged. I went in 3 times over 7 days and each time I got charged different. The older female charged me the least and the younger males a few bucks more. Somebody is going to ruin their business if they keep it up.

The food at La Oaxaquena was tasty, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The prices felt too high for what we got, and the service was really poor. They messed up my order, and when I asked them to fix it, they refused to give me a new one. I won’t be going back.

It was good, but nothing exciting enough to make me want to go back.

Love the food here! Sometimes it can be better than others, but overall my favorite food truck in the area!
