You will see why this restaurant has the best reviews. They know how to cook!! I ordered Vietnamese set and 4 tacos. Bahn mi with pulled pork was amazing, and the rice noodle soup was deep, if you’ve been in Vietnam, you can compare them truly with the taste. Taco was also great. For the drinks basil lemonade was perfectly fit for Mexican and Vietnamese food. Miso brownie was amazing. If you are tired of over-priced restaurant for the tourists, this is the place for you.

Simply amazing!
This authentic Vietnamese-Mexican restaurant provides some of the best food I’ve ever tasted! Ran by two brothers, Victor and Casper, they create such a friendly, calm atmosphere making you feel right at home. Their customer service is outstanding and they both have great knowledge of their menu. They were more than happy to help me decide what to eat and recommend combinations from the menu.
The tacos (both pork and chicken) were delicious and had such a great balance of flavours. I shared both the pork and chicken banh mis with a friend of mine and loved both. The bread was so fresh; soft on the inside and the crust had an amazing crunch. Lemongrass is a particularly favourite flavour of mine, so the chicken banh mi was to die for, but the pork belly was such a flavour bomb – I genuinely couldn’t choose a favourite between the two (I’m lucky I could share both)!
All in all, as a visitor from the UK, I would highly recommend visiting Het Mooie Weer while in Gent, or as a local! You won’t be disappointed – I promise!

I visited Het Mooie Weer yesterday and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the bánh mì with pork belly and pâté, and it was absolutely delicious—the meat was perfectly cooked, the pâté was flavorful, and the sandwich had just the right balance without being dry. I also tried one of their cocktails, which was bright & sunny it was super refreshing (not on the picture). The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was warm and inviting. The location is convenient, and the overall vibe is great. Highly recommended!

Very tasty Bánh mì and pho! Crispy pork belly skin and baguette is balanced well with tender meat, pickled vegetables and Pâté. The noodle soup is flavorful with fresh herbs. A relatively quiet place to have good food compared to other overcrowded city restaurants and cafes.

Had the Pork Belly Banh Mi. It had some great layered flavors that all came together nicely. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
Update: went back for round 2. Mexico combo with chicken torta and Pozole. Pozole has a great rich flavor. Tres Leches cake and Miso brownie for dessert. Everything was wonderful. Will be back to try the tacos next time.

What a gem! Sunny terrace, minimalist menu and extremely tasty food. In places like this you can feel the love and dedication put into the cooking. I feel I need to come back here so many times to try all the dishes – and then so many more to enjoy them again.
The bread here is made by Compaan, a social bakery that provided employment opportunities to people that otherwise couldn’t work. So it is not only deicious, but it’s good for society!

Amazing service, food and cocktails at a beautiful location.
To start we were served some delicious miso brownie pieces while waiting for our food.
The carnitas torta was to die for. The bread had just the right amount of crisp while still being light and fluffy on the inside and the meat and toppings were balanced perfectly.
After trying a bite of the pork belly bahn mi which my girlfriend ordered I can confidently say it is equally delicious!
To top it all off the tres leches was a perfect closer to the best lunch I’ve had so far in Ghent.

This restaurant truly feels like a real family place! It’s run by two brothers who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. They took the time to explain the menu and clearly put a lot of care into everything they do. The food was absolutely delicious and beyond our expectations!
