I was very disappointed. I was not expecting to receive my food without the meat. I ordered chicken tamales to get bones . I understand some tamales might have a bone nor two but they still are filled not just masa. I paid for something I didn’t have the chance to eat. The masa was good btw. Just upset there wasn’t any chicken to call it a tamal de pollo.

I enjoyed dining at this pupuseria. It was the first time I had been back since it was called the Magic Skillet years ago. Luckily, the restaurant still has all of breakfast menu items from back in the day Plus some classic Latin dishes. My friend ordered the traditional southwest omelet. I ordered a chicken pupusa, a tamal and a taco Al pastor. The pupusa was a 5/5. It was amazing! The tamal and taco were good, 4/5. My friend loved his menu choice. Prices are very fair as well. We’ll definitely be back.

I decided to try them out today, I had a steak omelette with homefries and a pancake. I also ordered an egg sandwich on white and pupusas. It just seemed like everything was burnt. I was really excited. The only thing I like was the omelette. Where’s the pride? I was going to ask for a refund but I figured I just won’t come back.

Biscuits were dry, sausage tasted a bit old, no seasoning at all for 15 dollars. I know a lot of people will say don’t go to a papuseria for American food, but if you’re going to sell a dish make sure some care goes into the quality of the food you’re putting out. They seem to have a pretty extensive menu and I’m more than willing to go back here a few times to try different things and change the review as I don’t like going to a place one time and sticking them with a two star.

Ordered from them via UberEats, and part of our order was completely missing, and the ordered guacamole was literally sliced avocado. However, I normally wouldn’t go full nuclear 1 star over that kinda stuff right off the cuff. What set me over the edge was that we ordered a Pollo tamale, and it was a drumstick wrapped in cooked masa. Thankfully, I was eating it and not my kids because I cringe to think if they could have crunched on the bone or swallowed some of it.
The pupusa revuelutas was actually really good, but I know we will never be eating there again. The pupusaria/bakery combo down the street is much better.

As a Mexican family,, this has been the worst Mexican food we have ever had. The Chicharon was so hard and dry that it hurt my teeth chewing on one piece. The chicken quesadilla’s were bland and too small for that price. The Pupusa was ok but it needed a little but more flavor cause it also tasted pretty bland but the sauce helped with that. The waitress didn’t speak any english and had to go back and forth about 7 times to ask the cook one simple question which was if they can substitute my sons fries for rice. This is definitely not a family styled restaurant but more like a bar. The music was very loud, men were vaping, and the waitresses were wearing booty shorts with their butt cheeks hanging out. They were also hanging around an older man’s table most of the time where multiple different men kept coming and going to flirt with those ladies and were also very inappropriately touchy with them which made it seem like the waitresses don’t just waitress there but maybe offer more services to them if you know what I mean. It definitely made us feel very uncomfortable and we will definitely not be coming back and warning others of this place. If I could I would give this place zero stars!

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and had to travel north on rt 1 to find a good spot. Now, that I found this place, I will never have to travel for my American breakfast. The place is small but never crowded and definitely no wait. The food is delicious and the staff are extremely nice. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a good breakfast.
