I had the orange chicken with combo fried rice. And a side of fried dumplings. The dumplings sucked. No flavor. The fried rice and orange chicken were excellent. The fact I had to get my food from outside through a prison window. That sucked. Overall it’s a 3.5. Round up to 4. The food orange chicken and fried rice was too good.

I would not recommend this place. The restaurant lobby is not open. It requires people to stand outside in the heat and talk through the door about they they’re there, and the person that you speak with is rather rude. When I walked up, she just said, “why are you here?”
After receiving my order, I realized that the beef in the Pepper Steak lunch special that I ordered was very far from tasting like actual beef. It seems like they cut up strips of beef fat and tried to pass it off as meat. Either the beef was actually fat, or the beef was so poorly cooked that the consistency was fatty and hard to chew. The fried rice also had very little taste. Ultimately, it was a waste of money.
The only positive thing about my takeout experience was that the food was ready quickly (within 10 minutes). Like I said, I do not recommend it.

Ok this is my second time here and I really like the people which is why I give it a 3
Either then that id give it 1. Last time I came here 2 months ago I complained about the old grease taste the food has.. We decided to go again last night, my boyfriend and I thought it may have been a one time thing, well we got sweet and sour chicken and white rice. We got sick this morning, it again had the old grease taste. Sorry but you need to cook with either less grease or stop using old one. We Both threw up and have upset stomach. Wish the food was as good as the people that work there.

The bourbon chicken and vegetables were fantastic. The customer service was good. This was my first visit, and it appears construction is taking place. Good food when in Laplace a good place for Asian cuisine. No pics this time.

The staff were very nice and attentive, and really sealed the experience for me. Food was very good for the price. I wasn’t a fan of the egg roll, but I usually prefer spring rolls anyways.
One star off only because I didn’t truly love the food. I had General Tso’s chicken and don’t get me wrong, it was good and I’d eat it again, but I wouldn’t excitedly seek to take my friends here.

Eric and the staff are phenomenal! He’s excellent at remembering your order if you’re a regular, and will even remember and talk about major life events since your last visit. They are so nice!
This place has the BEST Chinese food in the city. I usually get the chicken and string beans or the bourbon chicken when I visit. It always tastes fresh, and I always get enough food for 2 or 3 meals. He’ll even tweak his recipes for you, depending on what you like. Don’t forget to get donuts while you’re there!

This place is rated very high on Yelp and Google but I don’t understand why the hype the prices are above normal market prices similar Chinese food the quantities are on par with what you get other restaurants however the quality was just okay nothing really stand out about it.
I did notice that chicken seem to taste kind of rubbery which would indicate to me it’s heavily processed frozen meat that’s quickly reheated and served in the dish

First time visiting. Tasted too much old oil in the chicken fried rice. The sesame chicken was over cooked, and the beef dumplings sauce was not my favorite it tasted sour. Was not impressed at all. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. Very clean.

Asian food is hard to find in LaPlace and good Asian food is exceptionally difficult. But Best Wok is superb!! Right away, when it comes to health in this time of COVID, the pickup system is completely safe. The food portions are more than adequate and the quality is top notch. The egg rolls are stuffed full and the fried rice is hot and tasty. Service from order to completion is quick and the friendly staff ensures you have everything you need.
