I’m almost sad I have to express my disappointment with my recent dining experience.
As you can see in the photo, the fish was severely overcooked. There was no visible white meat left inside. It was extremely dry, and the bones were fried completely into the fish, making it nearly impossible to separate or eat properly. I had to struggle to eat around the bones, which made the meal very unpleasant.
In addition, the bread and rice that were served were both dry, which only added to the overall dissatisfaction with the meal.
What concerned me even more was how my complaint was handled. After I spoke to the waitress, another staff member approached me (sent by the owner) and stated that this is how their customers prefer the fish — as though my feedback did not matter. She repeatedly told me that I should specify not to overcook the fish when ordering because this is how they serve it for their usual customers who like it that way. This response lacked consideration and dismissed my concerns rather than addressing them professionally.
As a paying customer, I believe my concerns should have been acknowledged respectfully, instead of trying to justify it.
I hope they take this feedback seriously and work toward improving both food quality and customer service moving forward.

I have been craving a Cuban sandwich for quite some time, and when I passed by today, I finally saw this place, and I wanted to give it a try. I’m actually happy I ordered the sandwich, as you could see, it was extremely well-made, with a good quantity of food and very fresh. The taste was fantastic. If I have something negative to say, it had a little bit too much mustard to my liking, but that is a personal preference situation. The sandwich itself was delicious. The cost of this sandwich is about $10, which is fair. The rest of the menu I’m not sure about, as I’m also looking for a breakfast place. However, when I see that breakfast starts at $13 for scrambled eggs, I think that’s a little too much. I will definitely be going back for the service of the young lady who took care of me. It was great. The ambiance was very relaxed; overall, it was a perfect experience. I will definitely be coming back to try more and see if it’s actually worth it. Stand by for more reviews.

This place was amazing! We ordered the Sartenazo Skillet and added Steak… Best choice ever! The the food and service were amazing. This is a family owned establishment and honestly a great spot to just chill have a drink and eat great food, with large portions. The restaurant is very nice and clean with indoor and outdoor seating. You definitely get your money’s worth. I had a chance to meet the cook Giuseppe ( I hope I spelled his name correctly! ) and he was warm and welcoming and can obviously cook! We enjoyed our experience to say the least. Will definitely return to try other menu items and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely a gem in the heart of homestead!

I have been enjoying their dishes for years. They recently moved from Cutler Bay to Homestead, so it’s a little bit of a drive, but oh so worth it. If you like Ropa Vieja as much as I do, you gotta go on Thursdays. Their beans are also phenomenal.

I was excited to see this place opening here in Homestead, but my God, please take your money elsewhere. The food was decent, but the SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. None existent. I waited 15 minutes for WATER. I didn’t get napkins, which I asked for multiple times until I was done with my meal. There are 4 female waitresses here and a male in a grey shirt. Only 1 other table when I arrived and another single individual now. So there is no reason for the lack of service, they’re not busy.They’ree very entertained with an employee’s birthda, which is oka, but they need to rememberthey’ree at work. This took way too long for how simple it should’ve been.

The food is honestly really good; nice flavor, tastes homemade. BUT they desperately need to do better when it comes to packing orders for pick up and delivery. We have had missing items every. single. time. It’s very frustrating to not get the items you paid for time and time again.
