Really appreciate that they have vegan and gluten free options. Food was good but they were about 20min delayed with the pickup time. They also made one of the pies a small instead of large and forgot to put arugala topping on. I only realized this after getting home so check your order before you leave the shop, otherwise you’ll overpay for things that were forgotten to be included.

This place used to put out so much better pizza. The last couple months it has gone down hill and is nowhere near the same quality it once was. I’ve ordered from here for the past year because i loved their pizza, but it’s dissapointing to see the quality decrease lately. Will be looking elsewhere now.

Excellent addition to Somerville’s local food game! I have been here a few times and enjoyed everything I tried. The arancini were absolutely divine! They were super cheesy and soft on the inside, while maintaining a crispy crunch on the outside. Along with cheese, there was also rice and meat, maybe pancetta? Order these! The boneless chicken tenders were crispy, but not dry and had sweet and sour sauce on the side. Also, a great pick! For pizza we decided on the buffalo chicken pizza. It was outstanding! It had blue cheese, chunks of chicken, and scallions. There was no red sauce which I prefer when having a buffalo chicken pizza. Definitely interested in trying different pizzas here! Give ZAZA a try next time you want take out for a game or night in!

Picked up a slice tonight, and wow it was so crispy, great sauce and good cheese/pepperoni. The rebaking might have helped, but one of the better pizza I’ve had in a while. Each bite made the perfect crunch noise! A win for taste.

Im sorry but i have given this place more than like 8 tries. Pizza USED to be good and was pretty much the only reason we continued to order from here. Now the pizza is only okay. But basically my issue is every single time they have gotten something wrong on the order. Every single time. Usually things myself or another were like eh okay not a huge deal because we usually just wanted to eat. But other times it was. Portions have gotten smaller as well. Prices dont make sense for these smaller portions. Tonight I got a turkey avocado wrap for $16 and i got a dry turkey wrap with ONLY turkey lettuce and tomato. Like what. No avocado. No jack cheese. No herb aioli. All these are supposed to come on it. I had only asked for no bacon. But anyways, again was small. I paid $16 for a dry plain turkey sandwich. Not ordering from here again.

Not just pizza. Today I had the Sausage and Peppers sandwich and it was delicious! Homemade sausage which was cooked perfectly and served with stewed onions and peppers on a potato roll. Straight The Salami pizza was amazing as well.

Terrible service not worth the pizza quality.
1. I picked up a large pizza and it was undercooked and only 14″ (large is 16″). I was missing ~45 square inches, or 23% of my pizza! This was after they called me saying they couldn’t make my first choice of pizza for whatever reason.
2. I once picked up a pizza fifteen minutes late, which was my fault, but the employee was extremely rude to me about it, yelling at me. The restaurant was still open, I was the only customer, and the pizza was already made and paid for… all he had to do was hand it to me.
3. I recently called ahead to order a pizza. Forty minutes later I show up and there are about 15 people milling about while a lackadaisical older woman yells out pizzas none of have ordered. After fifteen minutes of this I realize that there is no line and she is just serving whoever yells at her the loudest, so I have to push my way to the front to get to my pizza while she takes her sweet time. It was cold.
4. I recently called ahead to order a pizza. They said it was fine and to come in 20 mins. I show up 30 mins later and they have no record of my order. They ask for my name despite me not giving a name on the phone. I then had to wait another 20 mins for them to now make my pizza. After all this, when I went to pay, they say that “the system is down” and they can’t take cards. Then, when I pay with cash, the guy short-changes me! He only gives me my dollar when I call him out on it. What sort of outfit is this place? I will never return!

When ZaZa only sold pizza etc, it fell into the category of places I’d walk by and think “I should try that,” without ever actually trying it. I think this new concept (of not just pizzas and subs but also smoothies and wraps) will break that streak, especially since the smoothies are excellent and the service is top-notch! I’m especially encouraged to also see vegetarian protein and cauliflower pizza crusts available, and the updated lemony decor is a fun added bonus Looking forward to making many returns visits to work my way through the menu!

Scummy price scheme. If you order from here make sure to have the menu up in front of you and know exactly what the cost should be. Don’t use any ordering apps, they’re all marked up. Call on the phone and hold your ground. Oh and be prepared to go elsewhere because they will just hang up on you.

The worker told me it would be 45 minutes, which I didn’t mind, and I showed up at around 50 minutes. When I went to pay, he told me it would be another 5-10 minutes, but I ended up waiting an additional 27 minutes for my pizza.
It wasn’t the wait time itself that bothered me – it was that the worker clearly knew the pizza wasn’t close to being ready but still told me 5-10 minutes just so I would pay. I work long days at two jobs, and it’s just not respectful to lie to customers like that. Again, the wait wasn’t the problem; it was being misled about it.
