Firstly, I want to say that I REALLY wanted to like this place. I am a huge lover of Chinese food and the concept of having Chinese in our little town of Paris made me so incredibly excited! And I know they just recently opened so I am trying to give grace BUT I must be honest in hopes that maybe some improvements could be made!

First, the quality of the service. Their phone number is incorrect on here making it very hard to call in an order for take-out. Going in and ordering was fast and easy BUT upon attempting to order both orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken (as was on a menu we retrieved from them) we were told they are “the same thing” which is absolutely not the case, and if so why have them both on the menu?

On the quality of the food, My family and I bought about $70 worth of different items and just about two of the items were actually GOOD by any means. We got two orders of orange chicken (in lieu of one orange and one sweet and sour), one of chicken mushroom zucchini, the fried rice, a few spring rolls and some egg drop soup. (and a few other things but I didn’t try those so I won’t comment on them)

The orange chicken was okay, the flavor wasn’t fantastic but it was decent and you could definitely taste the orange BUT the breading was off causing the sauce to make the chicken very soggy.
The chicken mushroom zucchini was not very good, the flavor was bland and the zucchini incredibly soggy!
The fried rice was hardly fried rice, especially not short grain as is the usual Chinese rice and mostly just white rice with veg and very plain tasting meat. (also the lack of offering any plain white rice is a bit perplexing).
The spring rolls were decent tasting! Tho some of the ingredients made the bite a little unpleasant. Lastly the egg drop soup… I won’t lie, I was incredibly disappointed. Egg drop is one of my favorites and what I received was downright inedible! Which is perplexing as it’s such a simple recipe. First, it was LOADED with unnecessary ingredients, the only thing that should be in egg drop is chicken broth and egg! Not mushrooms, peas, carrots, etc. On top of that the flavor was just awful! It was bland and the peas overpowered most of whatever egg flavor was there.

All that being said I REALLY want to support this business and I want to see them grow and improve! I just think the recipes heavily need work.

This was awful. We got there a little before 6. Nothing was out. All the lady brought out was a pan of noodles, some meat, orange chicken and egg rolls. No rice. Nothing. Tasted absolutely awful. There were 5 other empty places for food on the Buffett table but nothing was put there. Then she charged us 75 bucks for 4 people and we had to get our own drinks. I feel like we were scammed. I wouldnt give this even one star but it made me

Despite the low number of choices for food it was all really good! The staff was friendly and refilled my drink plenty of time. This place is better than most of the buffets in Fort Smith and around Arkansas in general!

The food was decent enough. The menu was slightly confusing as to what was offered, but it was decent enough. The food was not made fresh to order, more of a buffet style. I got an entree and a side, however, the side was the majority portion. The building had a strange aroma, but that is something that can be fixed.

Orange chicken and fried spring rolls (called egg rolls here) were tasty. But the fried rice and other entree were bland.

We didn’t know there was anything else on the menu other than the dishes behind the guard until we were paying. No one offered us a menu, which has several other things listed. No one said there were other sides or soup.

The building smells very weird, so off-putting.

This establishment won’t last unless there are some changes. There are better places to eat in Paris.

No fountain drinks. Cans only.

Nothing is fresh. It’s all in steam trays. And it’s expensive.

Nothing has much flavor. I drowned the meal in soy sauce so it would have some flavor.

You’d literally get better flavor, for less money, and fresher-tasting food, by buying frozen Chinese food and microwaving it.

In all fairness I realize its just opening so I will offer a revised review once they’ve got going a bit more and their variety is expanded. We went with specific dishes in mind that were on the menu but unavailable so we didnt stay.

Why would you give leniency for being new? That’s literally the most important time. Ever heard of first impressions?
