We are a neighborhood wine bar at heart who strives to provide a fun and welcoming environment to anyone who comes through. We also are happy to get as geeky as you like. Our wine selection is carefully curated Advanced Sommelier Nicolas Ferreira. We have a deep by the glass program as well as special/rare wines poured with the Coravin system. We also have a great selection of saké, beer, vermouth and non alcoholic options. We provide classes, live music, games, delicious small dishes, education, bottles to go, trivia, tasting events and much more!

We love this place. The staff is amazing, even if you are new to wine but you have an idea of what you would like to taste, from something sweet, bubbly or heavy and dry. They know what to recommend and they are spot on. Jazz nights are amazing. This place is small and cozy and welcoming.

Didn’t try the food, so five stars there. Selection is very good, well curated but oddly laid out. If I had to nitpick I’d say there’s a lot of filler in between islands of quality. Prices are very reasonable. Went here on a gift card, would I go back with real money? I think so.

Vino Veritas is the wine staple every city should strive to be. The service feels family owned not only because the owner and his 2 wine sommeliers (Trever and Miguel) are insanely knowledgeable about every detail, wine and food pairings but also because there is barely a time we visit when we don’t get treated with extras (the way you do when you get seated to a 7 course meal). They go above and beyond when they can and it shows. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. If you are in Portland and are into wine and great service please don’t miss this gem!!!

We tasted a couple of flights and a glass of Pét Nat each, it was a really lovely experience. Fairly priced. Calm and cool atmosphere with some nice music. Each table has an assortment of obscure Trivial Pursuit cards which was such a fun, silly addition to the experience. We also ordered the truffle almonds to break up the wine a bit and they were very tasty.
The person who prepared our flights was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was a Sunday afternoon, I wish I could remember their name because he really did top off the experience.
