Came to Johnstown to hike and explore on a July Sunday. My friend and I first hiked at Lorain/Stonycreek. Afterwards, we were famished and my friend had the task of finding us a great lunch spot. Wahlah! Osaka, it was!
We were promptly greeted and seated in a booth. They had an all-you-can-eat option. We looked at the menu and decided we would opt out of that and just order from the menu, saving a few bucks for the amount of food we wanted. We ended up ordering a roll and a combo platter of sashimi and a roll. We also got miso soup and seaweed salad with soft drinks.
Service was fast, our server was very nice and efficient, the food was all good and presentation eye catching.
The only critique would be our diet pepsis. They tasted “off”, “heavy”, maybe carbonation not quite right.
Other than that, a great dining option!

The Goughnours
We have eaten sushi and Chinese in ever restaurant in this area, this place is by far the best. I had the Thai pineapple rice with chicken and the treasure special roll. He had the general tso with steamed rice and the dragon and godzilla rolls. Every bite was amazing. We will definitely be going back! Staff was super pleasant and the service was great! The decor and seating was also really nice!

i genuinely don’t get how this place has such good reviews. the spicy crab roll and california roll are so fishy they’re inedible. i’ve had better gas station sushi. i wasted $25 doordashing this. never again

One word – AMAZING! I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai & Avocado Cucumber sushi to go. I was a bit leary because sometimes portion sizes vary deeply when it’s to go. The order went smoothly & was ready for pickup in under 15 minutes. Everyone was very pleasant. When I got home, I was blown away by the presentation of the sushi & size of the Pan Thai. The Pan Thai was quite delicious with a perfect combination of seasonings which blended well. The serving size not only provided dinner, but will be lunch too. I can’t wait to return to try other menu items.

Another great new restaurant for Johnstown. I had the Osaka Deluxe sushi, and it was excellent! The sashimi was was gigantic! It came with miso soup and a salad. Both tables next to me had ordered the Thai pad noodles with shrimp and their portions were very large and the patrons stated it was excellent. A definite must for my next visit.

Prompt dinner service, polite & pleasant waitstaff, very reasonable prices, and the cuisine is exquisitely prepared. Never had curry before, and tried their red curry chicken. It’s a little spicy, as indicated on the menu, but this was not very hot at all. Just a little burn at the back of the throat, but it didn’t drown out all the other wonderful flavors! I now LOVE curry! Will definitely be back again to try something else! The decor has changed dramatically from the old Mexican restaurant that was there, and it’s a welcoming, bright space, with views of the chef making sushi! This place is a breath of fresh air for Johnstown!

I came here for the first time with my friend last week and it was awesome! The food was delicious and the owner and our waiter were both very friendly. We came back here for dinner today and, again, everything was great! We will definitely keep coming back!

The photos are half eaten. This place was great. Quiet, good presentation and speedy service. The food was phenomenal and I could tell everything is pretty fresh. The sushi rolls are nice and big too. Would come again.
