I really loved Bev’s, it was a great time with great music, cheap but GOOD drinks and awesome food! You HAVE to try the duck fries and the nachos Best fries I’ve ever had in my life!!! Just be patient if you go here because they are just now getting started. Also, the staff isn’t the most outright friendly and welcoming, but it’s more of a personality thing than a rude thing I believe. 10/10 will definitely be coming back here!

Came here tonight for the first time. Had such a great time. Vibe was on point, food was great, excellent happy hour. Had such a fun time. Mix of ages and everyone was friendly. I will def go back. Met Bev and she was the sweetest.

Amazing bar. Great service and drinks. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was amazing! Came with a pickle spear as well. Great happy hour deals as well. I love a good dive bar and this place covers all areas for a place that I would return to! Definitely will be frequenting here since I live less than 10 minutes away.

Great place, definitely coming back!!! Isa was very attentive, friendly and patient. My boyfriend who has worked as a mixologist with over 20 years of experience saw that they have a good selection of spirits, Isa was great at following his directive to making a cocktail of his choice. We also had the Tony B’s sandwich and it was delicious! Definitely a great addition to the area.

Drinks were good. Food was great and the vibe was on point. A nice mix between young and old and everyone was welcoming. Plus the music choice is . Can’t wait to come back when they have events. I hear that DJs and live music are on deck in the future so save to say, I’m here for it.

Fun, casual, neighborhood spot with really nice staff. Lots of TVs showing sports if that’s your thing. They’ve been rolling out a food menu and everything they have so far looked really good. They have a fun menu with lots of options and some mocktails which were great.

The best addition to Nutley. Such a great atmosphere, low key during the week, great bartenders, great arrangement of snacks, and amazing drinks at even more amazing prices. I couldn’t be more excited about this place opening up.

I really wanted to like this place, I got a bev margarita with an upgrade in tequila.. it went from $10 to $14, they only put like 1.5-2 shots, I think $4 is a huge overcharge for a small bar like this IMO.
We also ordered mozzarella sticks that came luke warm, (6 of them only) and they were def frozen store bought. They came out to be $10?!! Like idk where these prices came.
My friend ordered two different mixed drinks off their menu, and didn’t like either of them, they clearly saw that she didn’t drink it and she just let them melt. They honestly should have asked her what’s wrong, but whatever…
also Half the TV were off and their form of music was from a Sonos speaker.. idk Would not go back… too expensive for a “neighborhood local bar”.

So…what a disappointment!!! My friend and I saw were made aware of this bar through Instagram specifically the @northjerseyeats page and thought we would give it a try. Needless to say we won’t be coming back, the drinks were lackluster and the “dirty Shirley” tasted like grenadine flavored vodka. I drank it because I paid $10 for it (which seems a bit outrageous if you ask me). I will give the ONLY bartender working tonight 2-7 all the credit in the world because she was the only one working and making all the drinks. There was one other bartender there but she was not helping out her colleague. My friend and I wanted to give this bar a fair shot because it is new but unfortunately, we were very disappointed.
