As a Latina-founded and operated company, we believe in uplifting the voices of women in coffee, from producers at origin to the baristas behind the bar. We proudly source our beans directly from producers, roasting with care and intention to share their stories in every cup. At Familia, we bring it all together—with love, community, and purpose.

FAMILIA EUREKA is such a warm, welcoming spot with really good energy. The coffee is smooth and well-balanced, and the breakfast sandwiches are easily some of the best in town. Staff handle busy mornings impressively well and stay friendly the whole time.

Traveling along the entire California coast with my partner and this is the best coffee we have found anywhere on our travels!
High quality coffee & food, absolutely gorgeous historic building, and super friendly staff! We had ordered a cappuccino and a lavender latte, and WOW from the first sip you can tell they use high quality beans and dairy to create beverages that are delicious works of art. We also ordered one vegetarian chilaquiles to share, and it was so tasty we ordered a second one so that we didn’t have to share 🙂
Happy to see lots of veggie options, and excited to hear about the second location in Arcata, which we are going to have to check out so we can try more goodies and pick up a shirt so we can rep our new favorite coffee shop!

Stopped by for some morning coffee and matcha with a relatively big group. The workers were sweet and efficient. Although we had a lot of drinks ordered, they were pretty quick with making them. Coffee was solid, they also were able to make it with honey which was a major plus. Also tried their matcha with honey which was alright as well. The place itself was spacious and welcoming to be in. Parking was easy to find. Definitely will be back if ever in the area!

Local, fresh, organic, delicious! Come for the coffee, stay for the food! One of the few places in Humboldt to serve up a legit cappuccino. Lovely cold brew really gets you going. Local chai is also perfect. BTW, they use really fabulous milk! I adore the house made granola & yogurt! Winner! All the baked goods are epic, ie salted chocolate chip cookie is chewy and crisp. The seasonal salad is huge, excellent dressing & filling in the best sort of salad-y way. Don’t get me started on the chilaquiles *so fabulous* maybe our favorite in all of NorCal! The toast options are nice too. I love their commitment to sustainable, local & ethical choices. This is a model business and we love them! Lastly, great staff: friendly, professional and prompt!

Its a quiet little spot where time slows down a bit. Coffee was really good and the staff were genuinely nice. I sat there longer than planned just sipping my drink and watching people pass by. its a perfect place for an unrushed morning.
