What an awesome little spot! Rotating taps, great selection of whiskeys, bourbon, tequila, and more. Relaxing, welcoming outdoor area with covered porch seating as well as lawn seats/swings, fire pit, and stage. Also a wide selection of cigars for the aficionado. Highly recommend!

I recently hosted a fitness event in Leaf & Barrel’s outdoor courtyard, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. The space was perfect — open, inviting, and such a fun atmosphere for our group workout.
The staff and owners went above and beyond to make everything seamless. From setup to support, they were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and just genuinely AMAZING to work with. You can tell they care deeply about community and creating a welcoming vibe for everyone who walks in.

Visited this place numerous times and very impressed with the service and selection. There is also an excellent craft draft, can, and bottle beer options. My preference is the New England IPA’s and this is the only place around here that provides options for my taste. Also, the service is excellent as the staff is always down to earth with good company.

Great venue with a wide variety of craft and domestic beers, also Guinness is available on a nitro tap, and Coors Banquet is on draft. Huge can fridge, THC/CBD drinks, wine, excellent selection of liquor. Cigars, pizza, and snacks are available too.

This place is awesome! Just the kind of watering hole every neighborhood should have. I went in there with a buddy to toast the Marine Corps birthday and stayed for quite a while because the place was so cool with a great vibe. Huge selection of beers, super friendly staff and a cool place you could hang out at for hours. Food trucks flock to Leaf and Barrel like some sort of nesting ground which only adds to the cool points for this place. Definitely going back there soon!

I am from the west coast where places like this are ubiquitous. This is a much needed addition to Eastern NC. Excellent craft beer selection with a frequently rotating tap selection. Inside is cozy with a corner for kids activities. Large bar and a few tables. The bar staff is attentive and very knowledgeable. Prices are a little steep but really they are about par with similar venues I’ve been to and worth it for the selection. I really love the walk in cooler with shelves of (also frequently rotating) craft beer which is perfect for taking a few beers home after work. The outside area is a little small but is a nice addition with whole family activities. There’s a cigar bar but that not really my thing so I can’t elaborate on it. Overall 5/5 and will definitely be back.
