I ordered the half pollo a la brasa. The chicken had decent flavor, but it was a little dry, possibly because it may have been reheated. The green sauce (more yellow in color) was actually very good, nice flavor and definitely helped the chicken.
I wasn’t a fan of the drinks. I first got the passion fruit juice and didn’t like it, so I switched to chicha morada, which I also didn’t enjoy. Both were too sweet for my taste, and I wondered if they’re made in-house or from a powdered mix.
The chaufa rice and beans that came with the chicken were good. It’s $4 extra to upgrade the white rice to chaufa, but it was worth it.
My husband ordered the ají de gallina, and that was a highlight. Very traditional, with a creamy yellow sauce and wonderful flavor.

Truly a delicious experience! Each plate is prepared with care and the owners themselves welcome you and are attentive! We ordered the world-famous Pan con chicharrón, the trío, and ceviche. They were DELICIOUS!!!! Also, I love their Peruvian decor.
Love that I was able to take home some Peruvian staples afterwards at the store adjoined to the restaurant.

This Peruvian restaurant in Katy, TX is such a great find. The food feels truly authentic, especially the ceviche — it’s super fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The empanadas are delicious too. Definitely a must-try if you’re craving real Peruvian food.

Such great food. I’m Bolivian and really enjoyed the fresh bread, fresh ceviche, sopa de gallina that my 5year old enjoyed a lot as well and the Yuca Fries. Oh the salsa was really spicy and delicious . 10/10

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Danny’s Peruvian restaurant! The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The food exceeded my expectations; each dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. To my delight, I discovered they also have a grocery store featuring a wonderful selection of Peruvian products, which was a delightful surprise. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic cuisine and warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

We travel over an hour to eat here (we’ve been here over 5 times) We have had a lot of their dishes. Our favorites are the anticuchos, tallarines verdes, trio marino and seco. Don’t sleep on their picarones and pionono. Also they bake their own bread which is really good

When your husband insists on Peruvian food!!! As a proud Peruvian, I approve—this place is delicious. Best part? They even have a little store! He said it wasn’t quite my grandma’s ají de gallina, but it came close. Everything was delicious!!!!!
